Liviu,

Can you assist regarding the wrong photo being downloaded ie, 2706 which shows the wrong photo download eve nalthough photo not available is in the LK and LK2 fields.  A change has been made which should stop the wrong photo download.

Can you advise another aircraft you see frequently which shows the wrong photo to allow me to try the process out on.

I just want to know wht photos come up for it next time you pick it up.  There is a block now in place to stop any changes being made to the photo download and it should show photo not available.

Are there any others that you regularly pick up and show an incorrect photo?

I've deleted the local photos of 2706.

PT/PT2: "Photo not available"
LK/LK2: "http://www.airnavsystems.com/cgi-bin/anlv_sv/photo/photonotavailable.jpg"

CH, PTTN, PTTN2: blank

I'll wait for it to fly again.

Hi Alan,

When I see detail of HS-GBE which has only 1 photo in db.  The previous aircraft that I view show in second photo box instead of 'photo not available'.

How do I get my own thumbnails to display in MyLog?
I used to be able to copy a thumbnail into the Photo directory with the name of the files as the Reg. Ver5 is not detecting those pictures

Chris,

Put the name of the photo in the PTTN and PTTN2 fields and timestamp the CH field.  The next release of the software will check the photo folder first and use the photos from there automatically I believe.  You will also need to change the autoupdate to N to stop the routine checking for and downloading newer photos from the internet which it does around every 6 months.  You will also require to take the option of Do not update manually changed Records in the databse update sync options.

Firstly I would like to say, having read through the last 11 pages, thank you to Tarbat and Runway 31 and anybody else who has been helping answer questions from the masses in this forum, you have the patience of a saint! :)
Now my question! I have just noticed when I look in the Airnav403 files that I have three navdata.db3 files. Each one is the updates that I downloaded from within Airnav: 15/11, 26/10 and 20/10. I assume that it is safe to delete the two former files as the 15/11 is the current one? And in future I can delete the old file once I have downloaded a updated one?
kind regards clive.

Hi Clive,

The folder normally holds up to the last 10 downloaded db.3 files but there is no problem with deleting all but the current one.
