Hi,

What AT code should we use for the Falcon 100.

The ICAO code for the Falcon 10 and the Falcon 100 is FA10, but in the db the Falcon 100 is F10A?

Thanks

Hi Terry,

N78GG now in database.

N728CF was on delivery to MNG Cargo and will become TC-MNG.  This aircraft has been in Miami on cargo conversion and was delivered there using its old hex for its previous identity of EC-JSS which it is still using at this time.  The aircraft details will be removed from the database and the new hex will be appended when available.

4B0EF4 not showing any details on db,  on Airframes as a Pilatus flight, presumably on a delivery flight. PC12/47E   HB-FRG shows as reg details.

Besty,
A bit confusing, this one.

4B0EF4 does show as HB-FRG on Airframes, but to the right of the panel it shows as now re-registered N-730AG. Click on N-730AG and up comes Mode S code A9CB121 which of course isn't showing on RB screen.
Perhaps reverted to HB- FRG?

Cheers

Syd

No, the explanation is much simpler.

HB-FRG is a frequently re-used Pilatus test/delivery registration.  It's currently worn by PC-12 MSN 1241.  Airframes doesn't list this one, but it does shown three previous uses of this registration, on MSNs 718, 1015 and 1133, which became N324BK, N888SK and N730AG respectively.

Since the US is one of Pilatus's biggest markets, it's more than likely that MSN 1241 will end up with an N registration too in due course.

Thanks Dave am I correct that the MS and the reg will still be used by Pilatus for other deliveries but not necessarily the same type of aircraft.

I have about a dozen recorded uses of HB-FRG in my database, all on PC-12s.

I doubt you will see it used on any other type, given that the PC-12 accounts for almost all of Pilatus's production nowadays.

The whole batch of 104 registrations in the HB-FQ*, -FR*, -FS* and -FT* batches are pilatus test registrations. The FOCA swiss registry does keep track of the C/N but shows them as HB-FRG10, HB-FRG11 etc. When Pilatus aircraft change to their destination countries register they often remain miscoded.  I think just about every PC-12 on the Mexican aircraft register is still miscoded with its swiss test hex code.  It would be impossible for us updaters to keep track on the construction numbers on these delivery flights when the registration is only worn for a matter of weeks, and the many miscodes around the world.  We have put the following in all the batches in the database.  We are working to use a similar format for all Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Cirrus etc test registrations.

C/N - ####
ICAO code - PC12
Aircraft type - Various PC-12 Airframes
Operator - Pilatus Test Registration
