Alan

Do not ask me why, but FLARF- has previously been used on large aircraft eg FLARF-01502 the M4-VM-T Atlant seen and photographed at Zhukovsky and is an ex Geographical Survey aircraft (a bit like a Canberra type aircraft). It has also been used on IL14's, An2's and Let410's.

RF- is now used predominantly on Military and Government machines.

So far RF- seem (but not always) to have changed to 1AXXXX from 14XXXX and 1BXXXX from 15XXXX. In many cases aircraft with RF- regs are still pinging their ex RA- code and whether this is just down to them not being bothered or not I do not know. However so far I found that all 1AXXXX and 1BXXXX codes I have picked up have tied up to previously being 14XXXX and 15XXXX.

Thanks X,

I am happy to add any confirmed tie-ups to the database.  Unfortunately your location does not make confirmation easy especially for military types.

Thanks Terry will go with Global Skies LLC/Lee Fixel as it would appear to be owned by the individual and not his company.

Alan

PS The 31 year old 02495 was an An2, the Aeroprakt A-25 was a new build in 1995 and seen at Zhukovsky as 02495FLARF....however the Scramble comment on it carrying 51 red does seem odd! Still as you note unless seen and tied up visually it could be another type by today.

The FLARF's are confusing as they can be painted FLARF-02495, FLARF02495 and 02495FLARF possibly even just 02495

Hi Alan.

Here is one for you to have a look at please.

* C13866                                                                 2017/01/24 13:07:01

Probably another corrupt packet, but here's hoping.

Regards.

Chris.

Hi Chris,

C13866 is Canadian but doesn't decode.  C1**** codes are usually ground transmitters, at least when picked up in Canada so looks like a corrupt packet
