Nothing on any of those, my only comment is that 8005CF has been noted from SBS reports from Colombo Ceylon 13,14,15th of this month.

My box has two mode S codes for EK-76485, what do you have?

600050   EK-76485
60005C   EK-76485

FYI

EK-76808 IL76 RUS is most probably 600073. Seen being prepared for departure and picked up on my box departing from SHJ shortly afterwards.

Do you have any tie ups for Georgian Il-76’s in the Gulf as the net sites are never consistent!

e.g. last year 4L-GLP was reported by airframes.net as 51401D, Gatwick Aviation Society as 514025 and my Air Nav Box stated 514024

On top of that, very early last year I read 4L-GLP taking off with an old code 601066 and read 4L-GLM with the SAME code a few days later (very confusing)!

I have never noted Mode S 51401D and as 4L-GLL/P were both in and out of DXB regularly, airframes.net had to be wrong on it being 4L-GLP. Therefore was the box right and therefore is 514024 4L-GLL or is it visa versa?

Sorry for all the questions I am throwing at you!

Neither 514024 or 4L-GLP are in the Airnav database.  However AvDb which I use as my database of choice has 514025 as 4L-GLP and notes that it was cancelled in February this year.

4L-GLL is now EK76808 since around August last year

Thanks for the time you taken today. I had taken the shot that it was actually 514025 and was aware that they had both been cancelled this year, but was trying to build up a file of Il76 codes that have been used in the area since I got my box in Nov 2008 to help tie up for other folk.

From codes I sent yesterday you will note that I only have about 60% really tied up. Bar sitting at the end of all the UAE fields with box, camera and binos all day (and everyday) they are difficult to tie up especially when they swap regs and boxes so frequently.

They are very difficult to tie up, especially when they are not always giving out the same code each time.
