The only thing that I would say Tarbat is that at 16.5Mb it is a couple of Mb larger than the the one that I have in my folder.  Not being to computer savvy there may well be a good reason for that.

Do you have anyone in mind to provide an uppdate service Tramline as you asked the same question in the previous thread?

Alan

Hi Alan,  I was asking the question as I don't know but there must be such a service available even at a optional cost I would have thought?

Surely someone can shed some light on the options available?

Tramline, there are commercially available database packages used by forum members that do that.

Alan,

Thanks for that info, which leads me to ask why AirNav do not employ the use of such a database for their product?

The thing is Tramline, if as i believe the problem has nothing to do with the aircraft table, what good will another data provider be it do in overcoming the problems being experienced by 3D etc.  They would give the data to Airnav as the updaters do and Airnav send out the update.  Somewhere after the handover the problem would seem to be occuring and thats what needs to be addressed.

The aircraft table cannot be seperated at this time as has previously been detailed by Airnav and it will need to wait till the next version of the software to allow aircraft details to be pushed out to users as and when they are added or are amended.  This will do away with the need for Navdat updates as we know them now.

I also dont know how you would seperate arcraft details dependent on whether you paid extra for an updated database. how would this work for network traffic, would you only get details on aircraft that you had paid extra to access. and those that didnt wouldnt, would cause even more choas.

For users with installation problems, there is a direct link to download the lastest navdata.db3 at:
http://www.airnavsystems.com/Download/ANRB/DBUpdater/navdata.db3

Yep - that's really helpful - directs you to a "dead" page - thanks a lot

no end of help with that one then eh?

Actually, to be honest, it was of equal use as the current download I've accessed

Hi Airnav,

Still getting problems with the new database you sent me.  I have PM'ed the list to you which is a recent selection of all the 3D models or liveries Im missing.
I have also added a screenshot.

As you can see it makes things pretty unuseable, and must be a problem at the server end. (EasyJet is the only 3D model appearing on this random screenshot for example)   :-(

Alan
did a total reload of the RadarBox programme this afternoon, and spent some serious time sorting other issues out on my laptop, and you'll be no doubt pleased to here that the new file loaded ok!!!

Thanks for your suggestions of help, no matter how useless they were!!!!!!

I don't know where you get information about aircrafts but I explored the database and CSA is a very disaster.
For Example: 49D011 for your new database of 23/02 is populated: N126AR
C208 Cessna 208B Grand Caravan 208B1004 CSA Czech Airlines
INSTEAD of the correct Airbus A320 1450 OK-GEB cn 1450.
The other are:
49D019   09-0662
49D010   G-NRIA
49D054   LV-WTV
49D067   N20CR
49D053   N27SF
49D04E   N300MT
49D0BD   N412MM
49D0AE   N496PT
49D01A   N511ED
49D094   N61BQ
49D09A   N6229J
49D0AA   N63CZ
49D025   N653KS
49D093   N707GH
49D0B4   N892AM
49D14C   N89837
49D063   OH-CTE

all populated as CSA

Stephano,

I dont know where you are getting the data that you have just produced but I have just had a look and all the aircraft you mention are in the database correctly.

You either have some serious corruption or you are using an earlier database.

In addition to looking up the database I also looked in database explorer on my system and confirmed.

For example 49D011 has been in the database as OK-GEB since 29/05/2010

Hi Alan, thanks for the reply.
I get the information from the database of 23/02. The only source for me.
I don't know what happened.
I replaced the old with this new one.
