HI tarbat

i noticed the repost of my earlier post from yesterday, which was when AF1 flew from the states. i'm puzzled do these flights not count as US Military?

They're certainly mil-series registrations, and are based at Andrews Air Force Base.

That's simply an argument about definitions, pretty pointless IMHO.

If it helps DoD4120, which is the official US MDS bible, defines the VC-25A as an AF asset.

New owner of Airnav Radarbox , how do you set filters etc to pick up military traffic , do you need more equipment or software. We have USAF "Reach" Traffic all the time  C-17's , C-5's etc but I have yet to pick any up flying overhead - they trail overhead every day .

All I seem to pick up is civil airliners , even missed a biz jet landing at my local 10 miles away , yet someone with SBS-1  I know picked it up on their set.

Any info appreciated - I only have the bog standard provided aerial.

Hi Microlight,

You don't have to set filters to pick up mil aircraft but you will not see them on the screen because, with a few exceptions they do not have full ADS-B. But they should display on the interface.

Her's my list so far today:
