Thanks

Alan - a question - have bulk errors been corrected? For eg the vast majority of Cessna 525A's have the ICAO designation of C525 instead of the correct C25A. Has that been corrected in bulk on the database or should I do it locally?

Thanks Chris, I check the Puget Sound Blog every morning.

Yes the C525's have all been corrected in the database. Sorted into C525, C25A, C25B even have the CJ4's awaiting a designator

Cheers

The CJ4 was allocated designator C25C in the March 2010 ICAO update.

You might also want to update any Tecnams in the database, in anticipation of the next ICAO update, due out shortly - I'm told the P-2006T will be a P06T and the P-2008T will be P208 (no P206, to avoid confusion with the Cessna model).

Thanks Dave

Knew about the C25C, five are already in the DB. Great news on the Tecnam getting a code.  The BA Flying Club have one at Wycombe Air Park and I keep wishing I could replace the ZZZZ code.  Any idea when ICAO plan to release the official changes on the website.

I would expect the update towards the end of October or possibly early November.

If you see it on your screen, click on it and it should populate.  Its in the database but may not be on the one you have with your system.  Thats the reason for this thread, you inform us of aircraft your system picks up that are unknown and we put it in the d/b.
