We apologise if any people have recieved Sikorsky S-61R codes for UK Mil or German Mil Westland Sea Kings. These have crept into our database following a bulk upload by one of the updaters using information that was copied from the ADU product and accidentally not corrected prior to upload.
The ADU database is well known for much incorrect type and ICAO code data. It also uses algorythms to derive Mode S sequential country codes without a check of what is actually the reality of Mode S usage for that country. Therefore great caution should be taken against alternative sources if using ADU to recommend updates to us. I am working hard to correct the Sea King error right now.

Maybe you should think before writing (again). As your facts again are incorrect. There was no (and never was) a bulk upload from ADU and I do not think any updater owns current version of ADU.
And another point since you've hinted at "one of the updaters", I take it you mean me as I was dealing with the military records, again no bulk upload from ADU was done. The military records were not completed and S61R was a inherent code in the DB before the records had been fully updated. As I explained in the private updater forum, records were in progress of being updated and still were when I had enough.
Shall not explain on this public forum what I already stated to all updaters and Andre when I decided to leave updaters team and why, but enough to say your reply quoted above is a perfect example.
