Regarding the wrong ICAO code, is it possible to change a file locally to force the correct airline logo.

Does any one have a solution to this problem ?

Thanks

I would suggest no as the logo comes from the callsign ID.

Andrewarles - you could do what I've done - use Database Explorer (on the File menu), choose the Airlines table, and change the entry for RA (in the C2 column) so that it refers to RAE (in the C3 column), and company name of Régional Compagnie Aérienne Européenne (in the CN column).

For puritans, this is a workround, not a solution, but if you're rarely going to see Nepalese flights and often going to see Regional Airlines flights, it will work fine.

Users in Nepal should probably not do this!

N621S / A81B84 is currently a Cirrus SR22 c/n 3618 and no longer a G3 (c/n 381).

Hi,

Does anyone know why the aircraft type isn’t displayed?

Hello the ... must be in the database, open up database explorer enter the ms code and search on the aircraft tab then hightlight the part you want to change. enter the correct data then click show all, this should save the corrected data for you.

hope that helps

Andrew,

As Stuart says for some reason on occasions data held on the database doesnt come through or is missing.  Right click on the line and request "Locate mode S in database explorer" When database explorer opens click on the space for the missing or incorrect data, replace it and click somewhere else on the box to save it.  The change will be there for all time thereafter.

Thanks Stuart and Alan,

Also, just realized that the Embraer ERJ170 / E170 isn't in the actype table.

Out of interest, does AirNav keep their db updated for future releases?

E170 is in the AT tables.  The database is being updated, that is what this thread is about, individuals sending in details of missing aircraft and us updaters working away in the background.  Hopefully a new navdata file will be released soon.  In the meantime please feel free to use this thread to forward details of aircraft you note with no details other than its hexcode.

Just in case you dont have the E170 silhouette in your data file I have attached it.  Put it in the silhouettes folder under data.  If however you mean that it is missing in your myflights  table you can add it using the method described before.
