With due thanks to the Civilian Aviation Site. Reported to have departed Paris Le Bourget & it's heading North over the UK. It routed DET - BPK - TNT - POL presumably enroute Iceland. It is climbing as it was on my box so I'm assuming a stop at Prestwick?

Hi,

Yes it fuel stopped in Prestwick, departed 23:45.  En-route back home after working in Gabon.  Believe it or not the d/b is pretty reliable.

Thanks for the confirmationAlan. Just to add I wasn't criticising the DB nor in particular those who have put so much effort in to make it accurate. I was genuinely surprised and delighted to catch such a nice older airframe.

No worries John, just pointing out the d/b can normally be relied upon and yes it is very nice to see real aircraft in amongst all the modern stuff.

My first sighting of a Sukhoi Superjet 100 apparently on commercial service - landing at Sheremetyevo.

Yes, Rоd, even Armavia airlines started revenue flights with Superjet at the end of April, each time this bird visits Moscow airports is still an event for Russian spotters!

Rod and colleagues, on the topic below:

http://www.radioscanner.ru/forum/index.php?action=vthread&topic=30532&intpage=26&mdrw=on

you may find here even more “firsts” concerning Superjet and other birds in the Russian sky, painted by state-of-art  Radarbox software.  When guys here ask what Airnav gives me that no other competitors cаn, I always say – Airnav presents a picture, they propose a sketch.

This topic is in Russian – but screenshots are in universal language. Russian speaking colleagues may find here useful information concerning fine tuning of Radarbox software along with one-stop source for spotter’s pocket spreadsheets and other stuff.

Bу the way, Airnav, do you have any plans for RB User Guide in Russian in your pipeline? From my point of view it may be a useful tool for increasing RB sales here.
