RadarBox V3.08 Ready for Testing
« on: November 03, 2009, 12:53:39 PM »
Finally we got the green light from teh beta testers that reported problem with previous version and V3.08 is available. Please download it from the link below.

http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/anrb/beta/anrb.exe

And copy it to your RadarBox folder overwriting the existing exe.
All reported problems should be corrected now.
As soon as we get a green light from this board we will release it as a beta to the public.

Ahhhh... that's better!

Selected flights are staying selected, and the photos/data panel is in sync with the selected flights :-)

As long as nothing else has gone wonky, this looks like a good'un!

Hi Support,

I installed the V3.08 some hours ago succesfully.

The first thing I like to report to you:

the flight-id vs route-information "problem" looks not to besolved. (I do not know or you could or intended to solve this problem in this version.)

I see flights on  the screen (after a fresh restart as well) with route-information deviating what it following the route-database should be.

Hope I made my self clear.

Hi John,

Can you confirm this is aircraft look ups from flights which have landed and then changed flight id and its using the old flight id as the route?

Not what could be a mixed signal or database being out of the date.

Just downloaded and installed 3.08.  I'll let it run awhile and see how things go.  Looks very good so far.

We need you now. :-)

Is there a log somewhere that lists outstanding/fixed bugs?

My only outstanding issue (as reported) is ANRB will connect to ANAD only once. If it is ever disconnected it will never reconnect requiring a restart of ANRB

Downloaded yesterday, ran for several hours last night - not using the network, but seems good here, no issues for me.

Support,

Yes, that is the case I think but I will focus on that. When I am sure I will report to you back a.s.a.p.

Tks for all your reports. We will wait 24 hours and if nothing major found we will release as a beta to the public.

Rgd the ACARS interface connection problems: added to the list here - let's wait for more problems.

I am still having the same issue that I reported earlier.  I still do not get the aircraft history showing up unless the conditons listed below are met, however I am now getting the aircraft photo showing.  It may be unique to my setup.

I've noticed that when I receive a local contact it will appear on the MyFlights screen but it will not show a photo nor will it show aircraft history.  The only way for this information to populate on the MyFlight screen is if there is a another contact directly behind it that will sort of "bump" the current flight down the list  and then things get populated.  Keep in mind that I am in a very quiet area for local ADS-B or Mode-S contacts so very seldom am I tracking one or more at the same time.  Has anyone else noticed this.  I've been waiting for someone on the general forum to mention this but it has not appeared.  Any idea's or has this been identified already as a bug and on the list?

Paul - I have seen this once, very late at night when I only had one aircraft in the grid - very rare for me!

I haven't had those circumstances with 3.08 yet.

Airnav,

Downloaded yesterday and been running since. Network threw one wobbler where the same aircraft was shown multiple times after sorting by registration, see attached. It soon recovered after unticking network and trying again, been OK since

Tried to check all other ways and apart from the one glitch above seems to be OK for me here on my set up.
