When I go to 'MAP' at the top of the screen, click on it then 'Set Map To' a list of the various countries comes up but the countries I added on version 2 do not seem to be there. However when I go into C:\AirNav Systems then into AirNav Radarbox 2009 and then into the Map folder all the maps I created in version 2 are there. How do I get these maps to go into the drop down map menu in version 3 without having to individually create them all over again.

Cheers,

Ian

I originally had the ANRB.exe has encountered a problem error when trying to run V3 on my Windows XP with SP3 laptop.

I tried the workaround of changing compatability to Win98/ME and found that will allow V3 to run.

I'm starting to wonder whether it is Sp3 itself that is causing the problem. I too was closed-beta-testing it and it ran (and the current V3 beta continues to run) perfectly well on my XP Sp3 machine (with all MS updates installed).

Rod

I have XP SP3 with all updates and I'm having no problems running the program.

So far so good. Menu speed is great. The application is responding nicely. One thing; my clock is still 1 hour behind. I'm in Montreal (-5 EST). any clues?

Vista 32-bit SP1

Thanks
Paul

Same with my clock.  It is one hour behind.  I'm in North Bay, Ontario (-5 EST).

Is anyone else having problems not receiving alerts when an ADS-B aircraft is within the set radius of your home location?  I seem to get alerts for any other box I check but not this one.

Hi Paul,

Who else do you thing would be having the same problem :-) I posted this yesterday and notified AirNav during pre-release beta testing but I haven't heard anything back about it.

Whoops forgot to mention. I did receive 3 flight in range alerts today via e-mail within a radius of 100nm which doesn't make any sense as I have had about 120 ads-b aircraft in that proximity during that time. I set it out to 100nm for testing purposes. Something is definitely wrong. I'm just glad someone else has posted about it.

Regards,
Falcon

Hi Falcon.  I was so busy reading this thread when I got home from work last night that I missed your comment.  This problem is frustrating.  AirNav please take note.  Thanks

We are organizing all the reported bugs and will have our main programmer correcting all of them during the following 3 days. The work you are doing is simply great and is helping us a lot. There are no beta testers than real users!

PS: we will try to have a new exe ready by Jun 25.

Thanks AirNav.

Another minor bug I've found is in the Alert tab.  The 'execute a file' box is always ticked when I restart RadarBox.  I currently keep this box unticked as I do not use this option.  Anyone else notice this?

What do you think :-)? Just to make it official the answer is yes so that one can be added to the list.

Hi Support,

I thougt so! The problem I found is hopefully not so big that this can be solved with the release of a new .exe as well.

Hi Support and All,

I just made my SQL-report of yesterday flightmovements in my area of reception. I did the same I always did before installing version 3.0 Beta.

The results are to cry so bad. If you like to see the report, please let me know and I will sent it to you. When anlyzing this report maybe it gives you possibly an impression of the problems.

Thanks dudbaker, I still have v2 installed so I am able to continue using RB. Disappointed that v3 has not been tested on SP3 though, never mind it will be sorted eventually

I have an XP with SP3 and V3 beta is running OK so it is not affecting every XP/SP3 set-up :-(

Something I mentioned during the closed beta still appears to be happening to me.

If I leave the program running maximised for a while when I return to it I notice very few aircraft are on the map in my location, if I then zoom in and out on the map when it refreshes new aircraft appear as if by magic?

Anyone else noticed this?

Flickering fields in map, no map title
When using two maps side by side, at certain times two fields can be seen flickering in the active map (left) while paning or zooming in and out using the mouse wheel. I assume those are the fields of the map title and the home position. The map title however is not shown.
