Picking up 43C1BB at FL220 with a callsign of RR9825, but not an aircraft I've picked up before.

Anybody have any ideas what this is?

Edit: Just read this in the other thread - any idea of registration?

Allocator,

I'm hoping its one of the 2 TOR that were at Northolt for the photo shoot this weekend

ZE956 or ZA557

ZE956 should be 43C044
ZA557 ?
43C1BB I have had it before with BATMAN C/S so maybe 9 Sqn

hopefully someone may confirm later today.

Not much help I know but we might get a result:-)

Cheers John

Edit :- Bit of a typo above should be ZE936 TOR F3

I'm working through my Tornados at the moment.  I've got 43C1BB with callsigns TESTID01 and BATMAN01.  Minimum altitude for each flight were 190ft and 380ft, suggesting a GR4 operating on the Tain Range.

the following callsigns with Hex IDs noted at the same time tonight, I presume 'somewhere over France'
'VASEU573' 3B777D
'MARC360' 3B7777
'CEV4652' 3B7780
'CABI574' 3B7779
all at FL250 or thereabouts

no idea what these are

My last attempt at tying this up was a non starter. But here is some more info gleened from the web.

43C1BB picked up as RFR 9825 2009/06/07 12:46 by me

On MSF Forum 6 x TOR reported at Lajes enroute USA. From the codes (fin No's) reported one was ZD744

Followed a link on Mode-s@yahoo forum to a tornado list posted by Ray on the Kinetics Forum were 43C1BB is linked to ZD744 as yet unconfirmed.

So I'll keep looking at the logs from the USA and see if there are any contacts there.

Cheers John

Could be six Tornado GR4's from No.41(R) Squadron off to test new kit at China Lake?

Landed at Mildenhall a little while ago - AE01D5 Boeing RC-135U 64-14849 'Combat Sent'. Tracked him on PP Mlat from N of Newcastle. He had previously departed Mildenhall at 03:00 this morning.

This is one of only two of this type in existence.
