Hi Ingo,

I dont have anything for 3D05D9.  The last D-EALT a P28T is now N2922T and was registered as such 18/6/2011

3D18C2 D-EHPY, Reims F172N Skyhawk 100, c/n F17201799

40653F G-EZGP, A319-111, c/n 4787, easyJet Airlines

424173, VP-CTR, Gulfstream Aerospace G-IV-SP, c/n 1379 info from LAAS

4BCD6C would I think be a miscode from the Asiana aircraft

AA7D59 possibly N775UA which is AA7D5D miscoded.

I have seen 4 408*** hexes this week.

Thanks again

Alan

AA7D59 possibly N775UA which is AA7D5D miscoded.
According to libhomeradar and flight24, UAL903 from tuesday the 19th was operated by N775UA (might be a decoding error rather then a miscode)

Alan

Two dark green ones were flying and picked up (B&D). One in desert camo probably the preserved one noted on t/o in mil field next to DAC (assume VTGJ). Also a preserved An24 was seen there as well.....BAF 00001!

Thanks. Well, it seems to be a good idea to check the LOG in these cases. I have AA7D5D with UAL903 as flight id in my log close to the time of the false decoded AA7D59 UAL903 flight. It is definitely a decoding error and not a miscode.

Morning Alan

I use these websites to check for USAF,USN and US Coast Guard aircraft. It does not give modeS codes but if you know the serial number you normally can find aircraft type.

http://www.joebaugher.com/usaf_serials/usafserials.html
http://www.joebaugher.com/navy_serials/navyserials.html
http://www.joebaugher.com/coastguardseries.html

It gives 10-72159 as

10-72129/72182      Eurocopter UH-72A Lakota    The number 72 is prefixed to the sequence number to make up 5 digits.

Hope it helps

Brian
