Just had a look in the d/b Jim

AE1FAE is in as 10-72159
4B198F is HB-JRR and has been in the d/b as such since 14/12/2010

Checked my d/b explorer and AE1FAE isnt in as I would expect as I only entered it in the d/b this morning.   HB-JRR is in database explorer as above.

You must have a corrupted d/b Jim

Alan

There must be a change in db info as this is how my Log populated last year when five An32 came over en route IEV (Kiev) for maintenance and all five were tied up in either DXB or Kiev at this time.

 * 800242                         K2676         Indian Air Force     2010/02/28 13:05:49
 * 800247                         K2696                                     2010/02/28 12:03:49
 * 80020B                                                                       2010/02/28 11:53:34
 * 80021A                                                                       2010/02/28 13:09:11
 * 80023F                                                                       2010/02/28 12:55:01

This is what I was informed that the tie ups were ( Soviet Transports)

An-32 01 04 K2670 Indian Air Force IEV 04mar10 arrived for overhaul; c/n now confirmed
An-32 02 01 K2676 Indian Air Force IEV 04mar10 arrived for overhaul; c/n now confirmed
An-32 02 04 K2679 Indian Air Force IEV 04mar10 arrived for overhaul; c/n now confirmed
An-32 02 06 K2681 Indian Air Force IEV 04mar10 arrived for overhaul
An-32 04 01 K2696 Indian Air Force IEV 04mar10 arrived for overhaul; c/n now confirmed

These were how I tied them up

India K2670   AN32   DXB 28/2/10   Indian Air Force              80023F
India K2676   AN32   DXB 28/2/10   Indian Air Force              800242
India K2679   AN32   DXB 28/2/10   Indian Air Force              80021A
India K2681   AN32   DXB 28/2/10   Indian Air Force B      80020B
India K2696   AN32   DXB 28/2/10   Indian Air Force C      800247

Have to do a bit more investigation into this as I find it very strange that K2696 would go twice to Kiev for overhaul so soon.

I have been having a look at the d/b and have K2696 in twice.

I have 800247 K2696 in the d/b since 10/11/2010.  I got this info from Aerodata
Also from your initial enquiry I have it in my from usual d/b as 800318

From that I would conclude that you are correct in your tie up and I will delete 800318 from the d/b and advise my database hex editor.

When I get a minute I will forward all my Indian An-32 tie ups.

Thanks

Alan

Plus these

 * 800314  9595C111                                                    2011/06/03 10:32:03
 * 800315                                                                     2011/06/03 10:05:03
 * 800316  IFC711                                                         2011/06/03 10:17:13
 * 800317  IFC2911                                                       2011/06/03 10:21:28
 * 800318  IFC10110                                                     2011/06/04 10:58:17
X

I also find it strange that they run sequencially... is it possible that the five have all been given new codes and were on return from Kiev (15 months is a long time though???) That would explain a change to the db info!

I agree with your Indian hex/serial tie ups and they are all already in the d/b

800318 would appear to have been the only rogue tie up.

I dont intend to post all the Indian An-32 tie ups as there are to many of them in the d/b around about 74 of them.

Alan

Therefore I assume you have no tie ups for 800314/5/6 or 7?

I have been advised that the An-32's may be being recoded and the only one confirmed was 800318.  Nothing has been confirmed on the others so no information is available.

Hi

I am waiting for information on when the five An-32's departed Kiev and we will see if this ties up with my unknowns

They were still there in August 2010 when I was at Zhuliany so it is a possibility

800318 was one day after the other four so might by why it was easily identified and the others not
