To try to avoid problems with the forum slowing down, this seems like a good time to start a new logos thread - I've locked the old one now, but you can stll download the logos from there - it finished with a zip so that folk can easily keep up to date.
Here's a reminder of the logic currently used to decide which logo is displayed, as given in the first post of the earlier thread.
-------------------------------------------
1 - If the Flight ID is blank or just numeric, no logo.
2 - If the Flight ID is the same as the Registration (with spaces, dashes
etc removed), find a logo file to match. This means that if, for example,
the flight ID for G-WXYZ is GWXYZ, it will display GWXYZ.bmp. If there is no
matching logo file, show a blank.
3 - If the flight ID starts with three or more letters, find a logo file
that matches all those letters. This means that if the Flight ID is TARTAN2,
it will display TARTAN.bmp. If the Flight ID is TAR123, it will display
TAR.bmp. If there is no matching logo file, show a blank.
4 - If the Flight ID starts with two letters, or either of the first two
characters is a letter, look up the two characters in the IATA code (C2)
field of the Airlines table of NavData.db3. Find the corresponding ICAO code
(C3 in the Airlines table) and find the matching logo file. If there is no
match in the table, or no matching logo file, show a blank.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR US.
Point 2 - we can create logos for individual aircraft that use their
Registrations as Flight IDs.
Point 3 - we can create logos for missions such as REACH, and we won't get
Aer Arann showing up instead!
Point 4 -we need to update the Airlines table in NavData.db3. A lot of the
data there is old, it doesn't have the latest airlines, and, because so many
aircraft use unofficial two-letter codes instead of their official IATA
two-letter codes, we can edit the table to suit ourselves.

Afternoon Rod,
Do we have a logo for Aero Toy Store. Just had a CL60 come over using it's registration N629TS as flight ID. I can't find an ICAO code on the FAA website so not sure if we have a logo or not.
Ian
-
Hi Ian
No, I don't think we've got this one yet, so here it is.
Rod
-
I'm sure I've done this logo before, but I can't find it. I've just seen their new B744 on the network over Germany:
RUN - ACT Havayollari - ACT Airlines
Rod
-
Bizjets:
N43R - CL60 and N6NR - H25B of Rockwell Automation
Rod
-
Another one I thought I'd done before:
RFF - Russian Federation Air Force
Rod

Sorry chaps - brain fade!
The last three posts contained the logos as JPG's instead of BMPs - now corrected.
I'll try harder in future!
Rod

Rod

Thought so!
Thanks, Aerotower!
Rod
-
Never mind Rod. Time for another holiday !
-
I must need one!
Anyway, here's another attempt to produce a logo that we've not already got:
UEA - Chengdu Airlines (ex United Eagle Airlines) (IATA EU - saw this on the network, so I think you'll have to update your airlines table for it to show).
Rod
-
Bizjets:
N604MU and N604MC - CL60s of Dean Foods (one of whose products is TruMoo chocolate milk)
Rod
-
Revised logo:
KFR - Kingfisher Airlines
Rod

I don't think we've got the Australian Skywest Airlines logo:
OZW - Skywest Airlines
VH-FNC - Fokker 100 of Skywest

I'm sure I've done this logo before, but I can't find it. I've just seen their new B744 on the network over Germany:

Rod
Hi Rod,
I have this
Rod
As of today (ICAO RUN) - ACT airlines have rebranded to MyCargo Airlines on takeover of the Chinese HNA group.
Although the turkish website has not yet been updated, their 747 is fully in the new scheme and here is a side view for you.
http://worldairlinenews.wordpress.com/2011/10/24/bravia-capital-and-hna-group-acquire-act-airlines-rebrand-the-company-as-mycargo-airlines/
-
Thanks, ACW.
I've made a temporary RUN logo just to keep up - I'll do an official one when I find one!
Rod
-
Bizjets:
N405HG - GLF5 of Kimberly-Clark, who also operate CL60's N404HG and N408HG (they make Huggies nappies along with lots of other well-known brands).
Rod
-
New one:
CDR - Bombardier Montreal (we already have BFO for Bombardier Inc)
Rod
-
Any reason for the two JPGs?
-
Of course there's a reason - sheer incompetence!
Now corrected - sorry :-(
Rod
-
Alternatively just a minor oversight :)
-
Ah yes, Chris, that's right!
I'll attempt another couple of logos:
ELJ - Delta Private Jets
NGB - appears to be the code for new operator Nordic Global Airlines - closely associated with Finnair Cargo. I can't find a logo (or website) yet, so here's a temporary Finnair Cargo logo.
Rod
-
After a bit of tweaking in photoshop, I've done a new German Wings logo.

Thanks, Knight.
Here's a Bizjet:

D-EZJS - A210 of MG flyers Luftfahrerschule GmbH
D-ENYA - SR20 of FFG e.V - yes - we do already have this logo.

Rod
-
And now a new zip. The last one was in the last post of the old logos thread here: http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=5404.msg71411#msg71411
This zip contains all the logos in the current thread to date. As ever, there's a zip of all the logos posted on the forum additional to those provided with the software, and it includes the logos in today's zip. It's got 1883 logos in it, and it's now approaching 3Mb. You can get it here: http://rodb.gofreeserve.com/RadarBox/Downloads.htm
Rod

Hi Rod, many thanks for the ZIP file.

Morning Rod,
Some new ICAO codes for you requiring logos :
HTH - Helitt Lineas Aereas (Spain)
OKP - Okapi Airlines (Congo)
OTJ - Ten Airways (Rumania)
Ian
-
Hi Ian
I can only find HTH for now.
If anyone has links to the others, please let me know.
Rod
-
That makes 2 of us, Rod. I can't find any information on them either. Neither seem at this stage to have their own websites.
Ian
-
Rod,
Latest news on Okapi Airlines is that they began services yesterday but are using a sole B737-400 leased from Tailwind Airlines of Turkey therefore, I guess, no official logo for them.
A bizjet requiring a logo :
F-HFBY (Using registration as flight ID)
Global 5000 c/n 9188
Mode S: 399438
Operator : Michelin Air Services
Ian

Hi Ian
Michelin Air Services have the ICAO code of BIB, which we already have.
Here it is again for F-HFBY
Rod
-
Rod,
A new airline is being started up by the former boss of Iceland Express to offer low cost travel to various destinations from Iceland. Details of their website showing their logo can be found below. The only thing that I cannot find having searched several websites is their ICAO code. You may have more success.
http://wowair.com/
Ian
-
Quote from their website: "We offer new aircraft from safe operators with an established reputation."
So it sounds like a virtual airline like Manx2.
I can't find any code either, but here's the logo anyway.
Rod

Hello
I think these flights will be operated by Avion Express http://avionexpress.lt/news .

no AKA in they're "fleet" list on the official website ( maybe a new one ), but as it seems we don't have the Sundt Air / VIA logo, here is one
LN-BRG is listed in the fleet

had Skywings Asia Airlines newest A320 on screen, still registred a N476PB, but that should change in a XU-*** reg ( i bet XU-ZAB )
they also operare XU-ZAA
ICAO code is SWM, wich we don't have
-
still working on my logs from the last week(s)
UR-SBS from Challenge Aero, JP airlines list it with code CLO, according Wikipedia and some others it should be CHG, if somebody knows the right answer, please let me know ;-)

Hi Vonsmalhausen.
The FAA website http://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/atpubs/CNT/3-3.HTM (http://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/atpubs/CNT/3-3.HTM) has it as CLO
And here are white-background versions.
Rod

Thanks Rod, i'll stick to that ;-)

There's a Al-Naser Airlines B734 on the network at the moment with an ID of NAS001.
Al-Naser's ICAO code is MHK and we already have that. NAS is the code for Nasair of Eritrea, whose logo I've just done.
So now the Al-Naser plane will show the wrong logo rather than none at all - sort that out youselves!

HI Rod I wonder if you could assist please? I have been an infrequent visitor this year following the loss of my Wife and a couple of weeks ago my very dear Uncle. Anyhow while on tonight I noted the Logos update and it has been a while since I updated. I have always tried to add each addition as you supplied them. This time knowing I had missed a lot I went to the Link to download all updates and I can't get it to copy onto Airnav. It'll be something I'm doing but if you could help I'd appreciate it.

The main website does not have their logo and the old Horizon Air website has been shut down.
Here is how the logo is presented http://www.flickr.com/photos/alexjossi/5815355419/sizes/l/in/pool-46505786@N00/
It takes the Alaska from the parent www.alaskaair.com/

Thanks, Ian - confirming what Orkney thought earlier, and Avion Express' website press release here http://avionexpress.lt/news
We already have the NVD logo, and I did the Wowair logo here:

One rebrand I forgot to tell you about, because they don't use their allocated code too often. ScotAirways rebranded back to Suckling Airways earlier in 2011. One of the Dorniers is today actually using their allocated code of SAY and this is the one needing a refresh.

Rod,
One for you which could take some sorting out :
D-CLDF (Using registration as flight ID)
Cessna 650 c/n 650-7085
Mode S : 3CDD5F
Operator according to the d/b is Dynamic Flight which would explain the 'DF' in the registration, however according to Airframes the operator is Euro Flight Service who have an ICAO code of 'FSD' for which I do not appear to have a logo although it does sound familiar.
Ian
-
Hi Ian
Well, I can't find anything suitable for Dynamic Flight, so I've done the logo for Euro Flight Service, who also trade as EU Flight Service. So I've done the logo for the registration and the ICAO code.
Rod
-
D-CLDF is owned by Love Dynamic Flight GmbH and Operated by Euro Flight Service, d/b amended as such
Alan

I certainly can't find a thing on "Love Dynamic Flight GmbH", so the FSD logos will have to do.

Afternoon Rod and a Happy New Year.
Let's hope this is a sign of things to come. Just flown over and transmitting full ADSB:
6V-ONE (Using a flight ID of 6V001)
A319-115 c/n 1556
Mode S : 070ED4
Operator : Republic of Senegal
Logo required please. Good start to the year !
Ian
-
Happy new year to you too, Ian, and thanks for the problem ;-)
The thing is that 6V001 will be treated like an IATA code of 6V, which is owned by Aviation Company "Mars Rk" Ltd, which may or may not be the Medical Air Rescue Service of Zimbabwe, ICAO code MRZ, whose logo we don't have.
I therefore suggest that to display the Republic of Senegal logo, we create a new "ICAO Code" of SZZ, which doesn't appear to exist, and add that to the Airlines table along with the IATA code of 6V.
Unless we get new logo logic, that's the best I can think of, and I've named the logo to suit that scheme.
Rod
-
Thanks for that Rod. There obviously was no routing shown therefore I'll watch for a possible return flight and check what that flight ID may be. At a guess 6V001 again or possibly 6V002. I've put into the logo folder the code of 'SZZ' and have also done a copy renamed as 6V-ONE.
Yes, a problem, but a good one !

ELP - Medilink International Air Ambulance Malta

Successes:
GCT - GC Aviation
HRM - Hermes Airlines
IAN - Inter Aviation (is this yours, Ian?)
LDS - Lineas Aereas Del Sur trading as Sur Air

More:
DOK - Nordic Air Ambulance
MRL - MR Lines
GEM - Air Africa International - I can read this if I squint!
EAA - Air Bishkek - we already have EAA for Eastok Avia. The Air Bishkek webpage has the logo that I've done, but the text keeps referring to "Kyrgyz Airways". I don't know what's going on there.
Rod
-
Yet more:
RLP - Airlinair Portugal - horribly cropped to make it legible
CJM - Corporate Jet Management
ESP - Esperia Aviation
KME - Global Flight Solutions
Rod

And lastly, for now:
QJE - Cobham Aviation (Australia) - they just use the normal Cobham logo, so I've added the Australian flag
SPN - Hesa Airlines
HTH - we already have this
LLG - Luftline
BLJ - Petter Solberg Aviation
My work here is done - think I'll pour another glass!

-
another bizjet on the network without a logo, VP-CDV from Arven Chemicals
-
this one is more of a question to the DB team, or anyone else who would know more about it ;
yesterday evening i had a flight on the network with ICAO code ATR, no logo showing, with "company" name SmartLynx / Small Planet airlines
we do have that code in the DB for Atlas Airlines (Muncie In), but i can not find anything for this "airline" confirming it is still operational.
so the question is,
1) is it ok to delete this Atlas file and replace it with the SmartLynx/Small Planet one
2) was this just a miscode on the box, as we do have ART in the logo folder for SmartLynx, but no ART in the DB
anyway, just in case this would be a new/changed code, i made a logo for the SmartLynx/Small Planet combination.

Rod
Rod,
Possible explanation for 'EAA' Air Bishkek. At present, they have in their fleet EX-32002 an A320-231 c/n 386 leased from Kyrgyzstan Airlines and also EX-32001 an A320-231 c/n 445 leased from Eastok Avia. They must be using the same 'EAA' ICAO code for all. Could be other aircraft in their fleet involved.
Ian
-
Thanks for that, Ian
I've just noticed that the FAA listing has EAA allocated to Air Bishkek, and that their callsign is Eastok.
Airframes has EAA as Eastok Avia, which was on the EU blacklist last year - perhaps they have just renamed themselves.

ICAO change for you. Aeronautica Militare Italiana were using AMI as their ICAO (which seems sensible), however it has been changed to IAM.

Hi Ian
We already had ITY for the Italian Air Force, but I've done it again for IAM, and I've also done one with words as an alternative for those who prefer it.

GRF - Gryphon Airways appears to be a US company based in Kuwait and with offices in South Africa. I've just done their general logo
HJI - Shiv Air appears to be a non-operating subsidiary of Services Air. I can't find any logo or aircraft photo for Shiv, so I've done the Services Air logo

hi Rod
at what point do you add all these individual logos to the main zip file?
or is it necessary to copy each one into the logos file
thanks
Nick
-
Hi Nick
I update the main zip at the same time as I do the normal zips that I post here, which is when I have collected about 80 or 90 new/revised logos. The frequency mainly depends on how often I get long lists of demands from Ian and ACW ;-)
I guess that most users dowload the main zip just once, then use the update zips to keep up to date. Personally, if I wasn't the "zipmaster", I would download individual logos only when I thought they might stand a chance of appearing on my system.
Hope that helps.

Hi Ian
I'm afraid I'm not convinced that the company you found is the right one - they are a travel agent in Nigeria, not an aircraft operator in Niger. However, as I can't find anything at all about Oasis Air of Niger, I've done the Nigeria company's logo anyway.

Rod/Ian - Ivory Coast is an old Colonial name. Whilst it remains a literal translation of the country name, International institutions like the UN and World Bank now fully call the country by its local name - Côte d'Ivoire and I think we should do the same.

It is a full rebrand. They had a circular symbol on the tail and a predominantly red scheme.

DISASTER, DISASTER !!!!!!!!
Rod,
In downloading all your logos from your website, I have inadvertantly pressed the wrong buttons (again) and deleted all the original default logos supplied by AN. Don't ask me how but they are not in the logos folder (I've done a random check of the popular ones) nor are they in the recycle bin. Other than reloading the AN CD and trying to get them from there (don't know if it is possible just to obtain the default logos from the disc and nothing else), I'm not sure how to proceed.
Is it possible for you to send me the original logos that appear on the CD. If so how what then. What a catastrophe this is !
AN if monitoring, any suggestions.
-
Er,
Not so well done !
-
Don't panic!
Here's a link to the logos as released with the software: http://www.rbearden.toucansurf.com/Logos for 3.13 29-9-09.zip (http://www.rbearden.toucansurf.com/Logos%20for%203.13%2029-9-09.zip)
Install this, then install the update zip on top, ovewriting existing files - you will then be up to date :-)

Direction Générale de l'Aviation Civile - SEFA as operator
picture was missing, so i did a search for it on the net today, noticed that SEFA has merged ( absorbed ) by ENAC - Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile since 1/1/2011, operating under ENAC since
we already have a logo for SEFA's 3digit code SFA, so i reworked it, since the planes still wear the SEFA logo, i still integrated it in this new one.

Now that vonsmalhausen has gone off for a little lie-down, I thought I'd do another zip of all the alternative logos posted since the last time I did one.
There have been two zips of alternative logos, and they are still available in the old New Logos thread:
http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=5404.msg56035#msg56035 and
http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=5404.msg67272#msg67272
Many of these alternative logos will need renaming to proper ICAO codes or registrations before they will work, and you will usually have to replace existing "official" logos when placing them in the logos directory. Use these at your own risk, but do remember that you can always download the full load of "official" logos posted on the forum from my downloads page.

i don't know if it is a other company or a new logo, but here it is
-
G-HOLM, chopper showing as Oxford Air Service, using WDK025 as flight ID
WDK being Capital Air, as far i know not yet in the logo folder
-
New code courtesy of Alan:
GSH - Gama Aviation FZC - as the FAA has it, FZE according to Gama's website
They don't seem to have a separate logo from the UK operation (GMA) so I've just stuck a UAE flag on their normal logo.

Could you do the Amsair logo for Lord Sugar's Cirrus N124CP.
http://www.amsair.biz/index.html
Although the Cirrus is UK based, Lord Sugar has registered it to his Boca Raton, Florida mansion. Not bad for a boy from Hackney. http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/434-S-Maya-Palm-Dr-Boca-Raton-FL-33432/46724233_zpid/

What, no helipad, no stables, neighbours a bit too close? He needs a better manager!

Morning Rod,
A new ICAO for you allocated to a new Polish charter airline :
BGY - Bingo Airways

Ian

hy, was just working on it when i got the "topic reply" notification :-)
maybe Rod can produce better, but here is what i worked out for them
edit ; Rod's version is much better :-)
-
All new logos gratefully accepted.
Thanks,
Ian
-
an while i'm at it, a logo for OO-PFB, the Robinson R-44 owned and piloted by Prince Philippe of Belgium, oure ( probably ) next King
on the left is the weapon of the "Duke of Brabant", his official title as crownprince ( similar to the Prince of Wales in the UK )
just had it flying over my house, probably the Prince is heading to the Royal estate at Ciergnies.
-
Thanks for that, vonsmalhausen.
Somebody at Bingo needs to work on their corporate identity. Their official fin logo is available for download on their website (different from what's on the aircraft), so I've used that. But the wording is done with Bingo in bold, not in bold, in black, in grey (but not in red that I could find), and with initial capitals and in lower case.
So I've done this version which is possibly more "official", but it's debatable.
BGY - Bingo Airways
Rod
-
no problem Rod, i was certain you would give us a better version, removed mine ;-)
ps, they do use the red Bingo Airways lettering in the Polish version of the site, that's where i got it, in the English version of the site that's not to be found (strange), as you said ; they need to do something 'bout they're identity.
anyway, i like you're version better

I have just tried downloading from Rod Bearden utilities site, the logos winzip file. Winzip notifies that it is not a valid archive file. I have put the latest version of winzip on my pc but it still makes no difference. Winzip does open other zip files on the download page so i know it is working ok. Is there an alternative means of downloading the Logos file.
Many thanks.
-
That's odd, Reg - it works fine for me.
As a temporary measure, try this link (right-click it and choose "save link as..." or save target as...")
http://www.rbearden.toucansurf.com/AllNewLogos_31-3-2012.zip
Let me know if it works or not.
Rod

Rod
Thank you for the alternative link. Worked fine and i was able to unzip the files. I guess it was originally my error as i did not save the zipped file in a proper manner. I will know what to do with future downloads.
Many thanks for all your work in making the logos available.

Bizjet:
M-MBJK - GLF5 of AC Executive Aviation (2011). I think this is one of many holding companies operated by an Irish entrepreneur called Denis O'Brien. AC is Aergo Capital, which is an aircraft leasing company.

Afternoon Rod,
New ICAO for you :
KHT - Khatlan Air (Tajikistan)
http://khatlonair.tj/index.php?lang=en
Ian
-
hmmm, Rod seems to be off for a while, this on could do the job till he get's back ;-)
- KHT - Khatlan Air > removed ; no good.... so it seems good after all :-) , reposted
had a couple of logo orphins on the network this morning;
- AS1227 of the Malta Defence Air Wing, using DIMPB as flight ID ( seems to be the previous reg )
- UR-ALA, Phenom 100 of South Air using BJU as ID, aldo it should be OTL according to Wikipedia ( neighther of them being in the logo folder so far )
-
Just so there is no confusion KHT = Khatlon Air as per the logo not Khatlan Air
Alan
-
oeps, you are absolutely right, did not noticed the difference in name, removed the logo.
can't find anything else for Khatlan, if somebody finds a link ore something, just let me know.
-
KHT - Khatlon Air http://khatlonair.tj/ It was Khatlan that was incorrect, your logo would be OK
Alan
-
Talk about confusion !
-
noticed a C172 from Motorflugguppe Wilhemshaven-friesland on the network this morning ;
D-EEFR
they also have D-ELSI,-EEVB,-EVLS
-
noticed another on the network without logo, strange as it is not a new company
PR-ATK, a ATR-72 from Azul Airways, using AZU4355 as flight ID
checked my folder, no AZU logo so far.
-
Rod
A bit of a logo clash. We currently have PEG as a military callsign linked to FR Aviation Falcons. Probably short for Pegasus.
PEG is now allocated by ICAO to the civil company http://www.pegjet.com/
There is an ADS-B Gulfstream IV using the PEG ICAO callsign.
As more people worldwide are likely to see the ADS-B Gulfy, can this one be swapped across.
-
Thanks, ACW
PEG - Pegasus Elite Aviation
Our previous PEG is now officially an alternative.
Rod
-
had D-MFKS, a ULM from Ultraleicht Fluggelände Kückhoven on the network this morning
they have a fleet of 6 Ultra Light's, all ADS-B equipped
the others are D-MFKO/MPHP/MFKG/MKFE and MAGY
-
Chopper:
G-VGMC - AS55 of Eassda Holdings
Rod

just had FAB-001, Falcon 900EX of Bolivian Airforce on my flights
using FAB001 as ID

Brazilian Air Force also uses FAB, conflict possible
Alan
-
We already have FAB for the Brazilian AF as that seems to be the one that we see most often on the network, and it's the ICAO code for First Air (Bradley Schediuled) Ltd, which we also have as an alternative, so I'm calling the Bolivian AF logo a further alternative.
Rod

yes indeed, Brazil AF is also FAB, strangly enough it did not show up, aldo i have it in my folder ( that's why i did not check it )

It's time for a new zip. The last one was in reply #382 on the 31st March. This zip contains all the non-alternative logos in the current thread since then.
As ever, there's a zip of all the logos posted on the forum additional to those provided with the software, and it includes the logos in today's zip. It's on my downloads page here: http://rodb.gofreeserve.com/RadarBox/Downloads.htm (http://rodb.gofreeserve.com/RadarBox/Downloads.htm)

have a Helitrans fligt, LN-HOT, using RTG607
acording to Wikipedia it should be HTA, and we already have a logo for HTA, aldo very different
so is this the same Helitrans ?
anyway, i made one for RTG
-
Vonsmalhausen
The logo you posted is the new Helitrans AS logo and should replace our old HTA logo. According to the FAA, RTG is for another Norwegian company, Rely AS, but I can't find a logo or website for them.
So it might be that the Helitrans plane was operating on behalf of Rely, so until we find a Rely logo, yours will do for that too.
Rod

Afternoon Rod,
Some new/replacement ICAO's for you :
AMI - Air America Inc. (Puerto Rico) GAL - Albatros Airlines (Venezuela)

Here we are. I've done them all as a zip except these:
ATG, CVK, FBL, JAZ, RBK, RDC, RUT and TTD
I couldn't find anything for them.
EDIT - there's an extra one: BWH - Blue West Helicopters of Icelend
This zip isn't a replacement for the normal, regular logos zip.

RLU - RusLine
Rod

Morning Rod,
Just had a 'Minoan Airlines' come onto My Flights and the accompanying photo shows a slightly different logo to the one that we have. there appears to be an additional red curved symbol within the yellow 'U' .
http://www.airliners.net/photo/Minoan-Air/Fokker-50/2097416/L/
Ian
-
Hi Ian
Can't argue with that - I got the logo from their own website here www.minoanair.com
It's still under construction, so they must have changed their minds... which is the latest version, though?
Take your choice (I'm going for the one on the plane).
Rod

That makes 2 of us.

I must admit that this company doesn't seem right to me to be a Beech 4000 operator. I can't find a better alternative, though.

Scrub That Rod. How about this. It looks more likely.

Still not convinced - I think that's the same company - same email address/website address with .com and .co.uk.
I've just found this link http://houser747.files.wordpress.com/2011/12/isleofmanaircraftregisterv31.pdf
which definitely locates them as having a Bermuda address. Probably just a paper company, though.

Another Rebrand. KGL
Kolavia has been relaunched as Kolavia Metrojet
The web address painted on the planes is for the main TUI travel agent site. www.tui.ru
But as you can see the MetroJet livery is painted on the nose http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?regsearch=EI-ETJ
Over to you to work the magic.

Thanks, chaps.
I've done a Tui/Metrojet logo as seen on the aircraft, and I've called it KGL, assuming it is a direct replacement for Kolavia.
KGL - Tui / Metrojet
PH-AXS - BE9L of Leverco

Hi,
I'm having a hard time with the logos folder. I keep getting a message that reads" Windows cannot open the folder. The Compressed (zipped) Folder 'C\Users\LP\Downloads\AllNewLogos_17-6-2012.zip is invalid." I downloaded the new outlines just fine.
Thanks for the help.
Larry
-
Hi Larry - that's strange. I just downloaded it myself again and it works fine for me.
Are you following the advice to "right-click the button and choose Save Link As... or Save Target As..." ?
Rod
-
Hey Rod
I'm still getting the same message. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. I would right click on the logos and click on the save link as. For some reason it will not open the file.
Larry
-
HI Larry
Assuming the zip file is downloading OK on your computer. You should then find the file and double-click it to see the files it contains.
If you are using Windows 7, you should then see a button on the left of the bar above the list saying "Extract all files" Click that to choose a destination folder, for example your RadarBox/Data/Logos folder, and it should work.
Please PM me if you're still having problems.
Rod
-
Hi Rod
I finally got it to work. Thanks for the help.

After a long long time a Logo-Request from me:
DMROA (D-MROA) a BREZ of Oberlausitzer Flugsportclub e.V. (http://www.ul-ofc.de/15.html) I guess it'll be a H of a Job to shrink the Logo to the needed size.
-
Rod,
Just had the following on 'My Flights':
I-YLFC LJ40 c/n 45-2024
Mode S: 30034D
Operator : Air Four (Using flight ID of LSA402)
http://www.air4.com/it/
Ian
-
Ian,
The operator for I-YLFC was changed in the d/b to LSA on 28/5
Alan
-
Well, I've "interpreted" the German logo to fit our space. As to the LSA logo, which the FAA assigns to "Leader SRL" of Italy, there are at least four Leaders in Italy, so I've guessed.
D-MROA - BREZ of Oberlausitzer Flugsportclub e.V. in Bautzen
LSA - Leader Piattaforme Aeree
Rod
-
Another for you, Rod :
A6-MVD CL60 c/n 5884

Thanks, Ian
Two options:
GWC - Gulf Wings

Hi Dana
Thanks for posting new logos, but could you please tell us a bit about them to save us all having to do our own research, and to allow us to use the forum search feature to find them later. The forum search doesn't work with attachment names.
Please state in the post the registration or flight ID, owner/operator and aircraft type, or the ICAO code and operator.
Many thanks

JST - Jetstar (the original Australian company}
JSA - Jetstar Asia (Singapore)
PIC - Jetstar Pacific (Vietnam)
JJP - Jetstar Japan (started operations last week)

Another without a Logo:

just had this one on "my flights" ; HZ-HAA, a 735 operated by Al Mousa VIP flight
a ex Aerosvit, Ukraine int., even ex SABENA
the only logo i can find for it, is from a picture of the wingtip, so if somebody can give me a link to a webpage/document with a decent logo, i'd be happy to remake a better version.

N461DF - BE20 of the State of California - the state flag has the words "California Republic". I've wrangled it to make it fit our format.

Although registered to the State of California - it is not a Bizprop for the State Governor. It is actually being used by Cal Fire as a fire-boss aircraft. See the "Other Owner Names" field http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/NNum_Results.aspx?NNumbertxt=461df
Here is the website

Welcome back, ACW - haven't heard from you for a while!
Thanks for the info - I'll relegate the previous logo to the Alternatives folder:
N461DF - BE20 of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection AKA Cal Fire
Badges as logos aren't good for us, so I've just taken a slice of it.

A new zip. The last one was in reply #521 on the 17th June.
