Radarbox over mains wiring
« on: November 29, 2014, 06:47:22 PM »
Does anyone know if you could use repeater units that plug into a 13 amp socket to transport signals from the radarbox to the pc or any other way that is wireless.

                                                             Regards Dave.

It has certainly been done in the past

Whether this sort of kit is still available, I have no idea.

Hi Dave, is a hard-wired connection totally out of the question?   If not have a look at Lindy USB extender, which is powered separately from the mains and works brilliantly - I think max length is up to 50m, but check on that.
