Looks like flydubai are possibly differentiating the f/n's on a weekly basis (rather than same f/n daily) with one flight out and one back on one day each week as they seem to take off and land at the same time 2200 OMDB departure and 0615 arrival back in OMDB ...God only knows why?

So expect more!

Spoke way too soon and it gets worse!

FDB7000 through FDB7198 are ALL OMDB-OEJN-OMDB, odd outbound and even inbound!!!

But the flydubai site states FDB7000-7999 are all allocated as DXB-Jeddah return flights......Absolutely no idea why 1000 different f/ns on top of the standard flights!

Alan

Looking at your entry dates for older flights in the AirNav DB FN file (in the FDB7000-7999 range), flydubai started this F/N system in 2012 and looks like when they add an extra flight to OEJN they use the next two f/ns available for outbound and inbound which explains why this week we were at FDB7203 and going upwards next week.

BUT ...big BUT, flydubai have used up to FDB7312 to OEJN in the past, but so far not above, and some have been used more than once so work all this lot out!

I must ask somebody at flydubai, there has to be a reason such as they are not allowed more than two scheduled flights a day and call the others charters and have to change f/n's to get round the system!

Hello Alan,

database consistency request:

We have
- 10 airframes with AC SunExpress Deutschland: D-ASXA, D-ASXB, D-ASXD, D-ASXE,  D-ASXF, D-ASXG, D-ASXH, D-ASXK, D-ASXP, D-ASXS
- and 4 airframes with AC SunExpress Germany: D-ASXL, D-ASXO, D-ASXM, D-ASXN.

From my point of view they should all read SunExpress Deutschland as the airlines ICAO Code is SXD SunExpress Deutschland.

Ingo,

D-ASXL, D-ASXM and D-ASXN are not in the database, these have been with GOL for some time and are now PR-GUC, PR-GUD and PR-GUF respectively.

In that case I will manually delete them.

What is about D-ASAP?

Thanks Ingo
