No Flights plotting / showing on the map
« on: September 22, 2013, 11:48:16 AM »
Good afternoon All,
I've looked through other forum topics and tried things suggested but have had no joy.

I really your help please, my other half is currently in China at Shanghai Pudong airport having been at SHA, PEK and XIY previously.

Since yesterday the flights have stopped showing on the map, they show in my flights but none of them have the globe symbol and none show on the map.

Have tried the following with no joy,
Restarted ANRB several times
Checked all connections - all tight
Have un-ticked then re-ticked Process Hardware flights
Tried opening a new map / the default map
Changed the seconds to remove trail lines to 30 seconds.

Any further things we could try would be greatly appreciated,
This Forum is blocked in China, hence my raising this on his behalf.

Another ANRB user is with him and his system is operating as expected with flights showing on the map so its not their physical location (i.e buildings not blocking the signal)

For info the software is version 3.10
software version date 2009/11/17 02:53
firmware version 02.03.1

seems very odd for this to suddenly stop working.

Please help!

thank you,
Cat

Cant understand it myself Cat.  However could you ask him to try using his mates antenna and USB cable to see if either of them are causing problems.

He's just tried his mate's unit on his laptop and it worked.
Very odd.

I would suspect that either the USB cable, the antenna or the box itself is duff.  Trial and error will show which one it is.

Thanks,
I'll get him to mix & match to try and see what happens.
