Malev Hungarian Airlines
« on: February 03, 2012, 01:44:23 PM »
As of 0500 GMT another long time airline is no more as MALEV of Hungary folds http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-16866872

ILFC are arranging for their Malev 737's to fly to Shannon today, should be up to 15 arriving there depending of pilots/planning.

Dave,

Its the crew hack, inbound Shannon, to take home the crews of the fourteen ILFC leased Boeings which have been ferried out of Budapest this evening.

The only Boeings not at Shannon are -

LOA at Tel Aviv
LOB on maintenance at Budapest
LOI at Dublin
LOP still at Budapest

Here in Lancashire I logged 13 Malev 737s, mostly in the half-hour before midnight, plus the Dash-8 earlier.

Sad event.
