doncaster/sheffield robin hood airport

Hi does anyone know why doncaster sheffield airport DSA/EGCN
Does not show up on radar box maps for the uk,,this airport was ex R.A.F Finningley
the airport handles cargo/passenger and biz jet traffic ..cant understand why as smaller airports such as gamston are ......am new to radar box so any help much appreciated

I think the answer is historic in that the original RB maps included some disused airfields eg RAF Newton EGNX but excluded some recent ones eg Doncaster.

The good news is that you can add Doncaster via an Outlines download. The bad news is that you can't get rid of Newton and all the the other rubbish. (as far as I know)

Yet another thing on the bug list of things we are hoping Airnav will do one day.

The original map data we used did have some historical data and a few omissions. One of these as you mention is EGCN.

While we have updated the ARINC data in the last update for VORs, NDBs etc.. we do need a map refresh. As you can imagine whatever source you use when covering the worlds airport there will be some mistakes and omissions.
