Published charts for VHF Frequencies / Sectors
« on: September 10, 2010, 07:47:12 PM »
Dug out my scanner for the first time in a few months after discovering JonJo Robbs Direct Poll Hill Website which is very good indeed!

Just wondering if there are any charts published and available to buy which define the different sectors with associated frequencies? Mainly the North West of England.

I have in my possession some AIDIU charts but they are 10 years old and some what dated it seems.

My main aim is to produce a map of about A3 or A2 size annoted of the different sectors, and their frequencies above FL25, for the North West.

Cheers

hello

Dont know if this is what you are after but here are two:
London:

http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/eadbasic/pamslight-B0284ECF4E5AC0DBA3A6E5231D8B9759/7FE5QZZF3FXUS/EN/Charts/ENR/AIRAC/EG_ENR_6_2_0_1_en_2010-07-29.pdf

Scottish:

Also you should look here using the links at the left of the page (you can get airport charts and frequency lists for all Uk airports plus plenty of other interesting information in pdf format)

Hey thanks for tha Andrew, however from looking at those links, I am needing somehing a bit more comprehensive.

This thread
http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=3378.0

contains a great link http://www.nats.co.uk/uploads/LACC_MAP%20MARCH%20AIRAC%20V3.pdf

However it is 3 years old. Still very informative.

Im chuffed to bits after downloading an ATC Simulator online (wont give the link but its easily found) and the intruction PDF that comes with that is by farrr the most comprehensive information I have ever seen regarding which frequencies corrospond to which sectors and where those sectors exist.

One major thing to note though is that there are different secors for different heights which arent necessarily the same area covered as the one below, so things get very messy if they were to be overlayed as outlines on ANRB.

If anyone wants to know where I obtained this, just give me a shout,
