Hi

Go to Control pannel then Device manager, find your USB hub or hubs
on mine I have 6 root hubs listed, one by one right click on them and click
properties and then power management and make sure power save is unchecked.

Thats how it is in Windows 7

PS: My problem was solved by using a new quality USB lead

Thanks for that....all the boxes were checked so now unchecked. Will wait and see what happens.
