For the winter season, US Airways is suspending all flights to Birmingham, London Gatwick, Milan, Shannon and Stockholm.

All these suspensions of flights, due to winter season and of course the aircraft that are being parked up due to the recession, its going to have a big impact on the number of aircraft received by our RB, plus all these new aircraft from Embraer etc that are not fitted with ADS-b are becoming more common with BMI and BA, Air France etc, how I wish they were ADS-b equipped.

Republic Airways on Wednesday said it would acquire 10 Embraer 190AR jets from US Airways, applying the full balance of its USD35 million loan from US Airways to the purchase.

The carrier said four of the 99-seat planes would enter service in November and December, replacing Boeing 717 aircraft. The remaining six aircraft are to enter service during the first half of 2010
