The box still disconnects itself

I thought that the solution I received on the last topic worked but nope..
The box still disconnects itself, and it happens often then before...
again it is connected to a laptop

just about to go down a page..
any thoughts maybe?
its been happening almost every hour lately, everything is still connected but the USB light is blinking every second and on the software it shows "disconnected"

Possibilities:
A dodgy USB lead
A dodgy USB connection
Power-saving on the internal USB hub

If it happens regularly, every hour, I'd suspect power-saving kicking in on the internal USB hub.

Its not a dodgy connection since i dont hear the sound that a USB device has been disconnected, I hear it only when i disconnect it myself..
its also not the power saving because i checked that and unticked them all.

But, I only use it on the laptop, i will install everything on the PC and will check there. will update on that.

Ok I think I had a mistake while trying to install it on the PC...
I installed the software without the CD, from what Ive downloade from here.
At the manual it says not to install the driver when the windows asks for it, so i didnt.
but now when i remember that  in London I installed the driver via the windows (which is using the CD) installer i tried to disconnect and reconnect but now when i reconnect it gives like a fast double tune of a hardware being connected to the USB port, and the coputer dont recognize it, although the Green Power light is on.
