Hi all,

Someone asked for the history to appear in myflights but I can't seem to find the post that refers to it. Below is a screenshot from the beta patch I'm running, I thought it my invoke some feedback. Its a nice feature but my preferance would be to have it selectable on/off, which at the moment it isn't. It shows the history of the flight selected.

What do you think?

Cheers John

What do I think?

I don't have enough screen real estate to show aircraft in MyFlights as it stands - shame really as I have 2 x 19" Eizo TFT monitors running 1280 x 1024 - that's an awful lot of wasted screen space that I can't use with the app in its current configuration...:-(

This information is shown in MyLog anyway - is it really needed here also?

Please tell me Rod is correct and it can at least be turned off?

Something I suggested many months ago (and today also:-) would be a function to right-click on an aircraft either on the radar screen or in the list to have a pop-up menu appear (much like the standard Windows feature) where a selection of options would appear including one called 'History' that would open up to show the flight history.

See here; http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=2885.msg28252#msg28252

Regards,

As Rod says, it can be turned off, so it's not a problem.

I have it turned ON, its a very useful way of seeing the last three routes that an aircraft has recently been flying.

There are more right-click options in the latest beta:

Hi, i used the upgrade from v2 to 3 and get this windows message.

"ANRB.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience."

So i tried the full install and its exactly the same, the second you double click the exe it comes up with this message.

Tried re-booting but still the same.

I'm running xp

Gonna put v2 back, hope that will work again

Right click on the icon and choose the compability mode to run as windows 98/Me. That will make it work.

Tarbat,

Having looked at your screen above re turning off and on the 'show flight history', I don't seem to have that feature. When I go into the Tools menu  from the Map screen it shows all the same subjects as yours including 'show photo details' but nothing to do with 'show flight history' which is the subject directly below 'show flight details' on your screen or am I using the wrong Tools menu.

Ian - this option is only available on the very latest Beta version, available only to the closed group of testers.

Unless you are in that group, I'm afraid you'll have to wait until it's released. We're still fighting the last remaining gremlins!

Marc - that sort of answers your question too - some of these gremlins are dogged little things.

AirNav Support,

Yes it worked as you suggested "compability mode to run as windows 98/Me"

Seems strange to have to do that tho.

Cheers

This is a short term solution.  A permanet fix is imminent.

Thanks for that Rod. I thought maybe I had missed something. I will remain waiting with anticipation.

Hi. Airnav. When can we expect drivers for VISTA 64 bit? It's really a shame I still can't use radarbox! It's been long! Please let me know. Thanks!

I have V3 Beta patch 1 I'm not in the closed beta test. I can say that things are improving!
