So ive finally got my box!

after many questions and a long waiting time, i got to london and bought my fresh RB!
and i was wondering if this looks like a good aircraft reception to you? (be in mind that im around oxford street in central london, i have some buildings around me...)

damn now when i look at it. its not the right picture
the most aircraft i received till now was about 28, with something like 15-18 being plotted

hi jordan
i would tidy up your list on my flights i am only interest in,
status-flight id-airline-altitude-gs-ias-distance.
but you might prefer a different list.

Jordon, welcome to the fold.  Given your location is on Oxford street, and you are surrounded by taller buildings your reception is good, are you on the top floor of your building, if so could you fit an external antenna to improve on your reception.

Yep im on the top floor, but its a hotel i cant install any aerials...
I actually thought it would be much worse, but i got great view easbound as you can see....

It's a nice surprise when you get better result then what you expected, are you getting any coverage of aircraft in and out of city airport and if so how low are you receiving them

yea i get them quite nicely as much as i remember..i dont have much time on the computer during the day (travelling the city..) so i cant really remember..
but i have great reception on heathrow, i receiver them all the way down to 300ft

is it possible that i didnt receive a paper copy of the manual?
and also, if i connect my airband receiver to the computer, will the ACARS tab with the 1's and zeros will decode it for me?

If you want a paper copy of the manual you will have to print it yourself. RadarBox is only shipped with the .pdf version.

To decode ACARS transmissions you will need a decoding program, it is not built in to RadarBox. The AirNav ACARS Decoder you will have to pay for but here are free decoder programs such as ACARSD
