Scan King SE-1500 Base Scanner antenna

Hi all,
         Thinking of purchasing the above for my scanner.Anybody have experience of it?
What kind of range does it have?

Any info appreciated.

Like any wideband/multiband  antenna it is going to be a compromise...that one  is 0-1500mhz

If what you want is Airband coverage - better a dedicated  antenna for VHF-Air and another for UHF-Air.

Range will depend on elevation etc .
5 Miles N of BHD at 50.28.28 N/3.30.43W...400ft amsl.
