Automated Screenshots

Would it be possbile to implement an automated screenshot feature within the Flight Tracking software?

Can you describe what you mean? Such as taking a screenshot every x minutes or taking a screenshot on a specfic event?

Actually, I was looking for taking a screenshot every X minutes...
But both options would be great.

In addition, would it be possible to trigger a program when a certain condition applies (similar to sending an eMail which is already implemented). So this also could be used to take a screenshot, run a dos command, etc.

Do you want that screen shot to be saved to your disk or to be uploaded by ftp to a site?

I do have a little VB program which will just do that. The program can be used with any file and execute FTP commands (SEND, GET, etc). Drop me a line if interested.

I have just started using Screenshot Captor which takes a picture of the whole PC screen (handy for advertising!)

I use Techsmith Snagit and/or Camtasia for multiple/animated screen captures.  Very useful (and powerful) utilities, but probably in the "sledgehammer-to-crack-a-nut" category of programme.

I know a lot of small utilityes doing a good job, but for now "Quick Screenshot Maker" is the best.

To me the Airnav system is a tool to gather and collate aircraft movement information, which is where I would like to see the development.
I would therefore love to have the option of a screen shot taken when a set of conditions are met / triggered. It would certainly make the alert feature a useful addition, for me anyway.
Not too fussed having that information emailed, but linked into a powerful database would be wonderful.

Hi all,

For me, it would be very intersting to have the option SCREENSHOT and RECORD (with Time) on the ALERT possibility,
because regrattably i must work, i'm not all the time in front my RadarBox PC !!!!!!!
and i was very interested to have the screenshot of the ALERT FLIGHT tracking when
i come back at home (as webacm surveillor).

one way,would be to use an external program starting by teh ALERT mode, but it make
a total screen screenshot, the screenshot integrate in RB is better.

As same idea,
it would be interesting taht when there is  an ALERT, the flight in ALERT was automaticaly selected (more easier to identify).

You would not necessarily get the aircraft that triggered the alert shown on screen. I have a list of aircraft in my alerts and they get triggered when first picked up by the system, and that may be 15 minutes before I can see the aircraft on screen. It may also not be seen in the aircraft list. I do not know, other than making an auto  recording, or actually being at the PC to ensure alerted Aircraft actually show.
