Icelandair 521 - Tarbat
« on: January 08, 2009, 02:46:15 PM »
Does anyone know what airband frequency the Icelandair flights are broadcasting on when routing up through west of Inverness?  Tarbat I think you are based in that part of the world, are you?

I pick up the Icelandair flights every day and evening picking up the return flights over Northern Ireland.

I thought they would be on either Icelandic OAC or Scottish control 127.275 (west coast sector) but I have been unable to get anything.  It's well within range of my radio so if anyone knows please let me know.

Thanks,
Mark

I tend not to listen on the Scottish Control frequencies, they're way to busy normally, so I stick to Inverness/Lossie/Kinloss frequencies.  I do have the following frquencies in my scan list:
Scot Ctrl Cent   132.7250
Scot Ctrl Montr   126.9250
Scot Ctrl Moray   129.2250
Scot Ctrl Tay E   124.5000
Scot Ctrl WCoast   127.2750

I don't know, but I guess so.  I tend to exclude that bank of frequencies from my scans because they're too busy.

Also
135.525 POL - Margo
129.1 North West Coast and North of Glasgow - this is probably the best one to try.
132.86 South of POL

All of those will be fairly busy and often get bad boxed together depending on the volume of traffic.
