Just had the idea, that it would be interesting to know if its only you that is receiving the ADS-B for a particular aircraft and putting it into the network?

For this, there could be an extra collumn in the interface saying if this is the case, so you would instantly know, that it is soley your equipment that is providing the network for that aircraft.

It would also suggest that if you are to switch off your RB, then that aircraft in its current position would no longer show up on anyone elses Networked flights, and so entice you to keep your RB on for others benefit?

I guess it would benefit people in far out locations, but then again at night you'd maybe find it interesting how much use you personally are to the whole scheme?

Is this something that could be done? What are your thoughts?

would disagree with you, did you ever go into a gym and watch the posers, that's the way it would end up here. i think it would put people off.

Based in Hexham - Tyne Valley 
Best view for RB is North of a line between EGNT and EGNC  - includes OTA and Spade, to EGPH above 7500ft.   Can be TRUE mobile with Mobile Broadband feed to Network.

Don't you need an SBS-1 and a degree in Physics to make PP MLAT work?  I did think about getting my SBS out, but I just can't be bothered to go through all that setting up again.

You can use MLAT in PP without an SBS-1.  You can even try it out for 21 days before paying the €12 fee.  I tried it out, but didn't find it that useful.

It's the only way to track positionless aircraft. That's why I suggested it. I've tracked 15 US Mil ac for over 100 miles each today. Most verified by ATC routing on VHF/UHF.
