Yes you can turn it on and off. There is no night view, as you say it will be pretty dark and useless :)

Hi Airnav,

The new screenshots look amazing, good work, makes me even more pleased that I didn't buy the SBS-1.

So what we got planned for ver 1.7, lol (Only joking)

yep looks good, would be even better if you could undock the window and move it outside the main window onto a second screen ;)

I notice on your example screen shot you have extended runway centre lines shown in white (Final approach lines).
Are these additonal outlines overlayed on the sat view, in which case can you run both sat view and outlines together on the same screen, that would be handy, so we could have all our additional information (e.g. ATC zones, danger areas, restricted areas) displayed on the Sat View?

These are the standard RadarBox runways and centrelines as in the RB internal database.  You can also show outline files for airspace too just as when viewing the normal map display. You can turn them on and off as you wish.

Colours are customisable via the Preferences menu as normal, and then can be exported for later use as a Satellite colour scheme.

Another question regarding this new feature.

Will we be able to save images for use when viewing offlne or will it be (as I suspect) a strictly online feature?

The 2 satellite options are Download and Load.  Download saves the satellite map as a jpg file and a calibration file and then loads it for display.  The 2 files are saved in a /Satellite directory. The Load option loads an already downloaded (saved) file.

Its in beta testing at the moment, we are resolving any of issues they have. Hopefully after that we will release the forum if it all goes well.

Nearly there now :)

Will the new version correct the freezing problems that have plaugued some of us from start. Mine runs all day OK for a couple of weeks, then starts all over again. It froze again just a few minutes ago, so had to restart.
Very frustrating!
