I've just had a US registered helicopter on London Mil and on PlanePlotter. It was an Augusta A119 Koala, modeS A04E7C, reg N119JT. Two sharers were showing him, one in Essex and one in Suffolk at 400 ft. He didn't show up on my RB.

Anyone got him before or have any idea why this aircraft, registered to Skyrunner Aviation of Wilmington DE, USA is swanning around the Suffolk countyside on a Sunday?

Hi Tom,

The usual legal device which permits a foreigner to own a N reg aircraft is to register a trust in Delaware which legally owns the aircraft.  In this case I believe the Augusta is based at Binham near Fakenham.

The US Navy E6s are up and about at the moment - 4 at once, and all of them over the USA, three of them around Pax River.

Rod,

29CBB8 164409 departed Mildenhall this morning, so he must have just got back home when you recorded him.

Yes - he flew within 5 miles of me, FL280, at 12.30 this afternoon - it baffles me that military assets that important broadcast their position. Still, mustn't grumble!

An operating E6 radiates a lot of radar energy, so I can't imagine the opposition find one hard to locate!

That's military opposition BTW.

Not especially interesting, perhaps, but a new one.  G-EZFC 405F0B c/n 3808 Easyjet A319-111.  Delivered yesterday and seen operating the EZY2163 LTN-AMS this afternoon.

Also, routing Finkenwerder - Keflavik (delivery flight?), N790MX AAB92E c/n 3790 Mexicana A319-111.
