New Lufthansa A319 D-AIBA currently on Approach to Heathrow
It's shown as an A342 and the picture is of an A342 in Star Alliance c/s, (which of course was the previous use of this reg.)
I can also rember this reg. being allocated to an A300 years ago.
Unusual to see three uses of the same registration ?

Made me smile, anyway !

Hi this is an unusual one for me C06758 DHC-6-300 Twin Otter C-GNDN ht 47000 ?? sqwk 5464. It shows as Bradley Ar services but I assume it is a miscode? i heared it on the radio around Lakey but missed any other details still listening.

Hi all Another canadian registration. C0632C United Nations (Voyageur Airways) DHC-7-102 C-GLOL ht 1800 decending sqwk 1047. I heared this on Scottish 123.775 calling Voyageur 700. I think inbound to Prestwick runway 13?

Hi John

It was initially leased to the UN back in April 2007 - maybe on it's way back home??

I also picked up the "Twin Otter"  - It was a Gulf V (c/n 5230) operated by Skyservice as Runway 31 correctly concluded

It's not a miscode, just hopelessly out-of-date data being returned by the AirNav server.

Twin Otter C-GNDN was destroyed in an accident in August 1996.

Just heard a continuous low rumbling sound coming from the skies above my house (Cumbria), loaded up RB to find this beast in My Flights at FL260

15407C / RA-82044 / Antonov / An-124-100 Ruslan

FlightID:VDA4762

Is this common? Rumbled the skies for a good 5 minutes!

Hi Bailey - that's my second AN-124 today - had UR-82007 earlier!

They fly over sometimes, but often stage through Prestwick, so it was presumably climbing out from there over you.

Bailey & Rod,

I had
 * 508015  ADB2422  UR-82027 A124  Antonov Design Bu... 2010/01/09 12:56:09 in my logs on Saturday lunchtime.

Dropped from 11900ft to 8000ft from 12:56 to 1300. I was using bog standard aerial indoors (due to weather!!!) so must have been over the Midlands. Guess it was dropping into East Mids?

Chris

PS

508015  ADB2422       UR-82027 A124  Antonov Design Bu... 2010/01/11 20:49:00

Sqwarking 2224 and on its way home (from E Mids?)

I'm intrigued as to why it is still broadcasting callsign CGNDN?

* C06758  CGNDN    C-GNDN        Bradley Air Services 2010/01/10 13:44:09

Is the Mode-S box now associated to a totally different airframe with the same reg?

Cheers
Chris

The registration C-GNDN has been reissued to the GLF5

go to airframes.org and enter the Hex code C06758:

C-GNDN   Gulfstream Aerospace   GV-SP (G550)   GLF5   5230   L2J       C06758   SYB - Skyservice Business Aviation

The aircraft is broadcasting the Hex code and the Flight ID, but the aircraft description and owner are coming form the RB database.  Use DataBase Explorer to correct this manually.

Thanks Allocator,

Spend an inordinate length of time using the great airframes.org site.

Am 90% confident in my own mind that I queried this one over the weekend on the site.

I'm either cracking up - or the data has only just been updated in last 48 hours!

Cheers
Chris

Either way, my database now updated...
