RadarBox24 Station
« on: December 28, 2016, 09:59:55 AM »
Hi all,

What does it mean if a Hawker 800 shows ADS-B as Station if this Hawker is not ADS-B equipped? When i check RadarBox24 flights, there are different kinds of stations mentioned for different flights. For examble
PGANRB110545 or other PGANRB................., MLAT, EXTSHA008030, AEA4060. PGANRB110545 is my station, so i think PGANRB are Radarbox stations. But what is the rest and what does the ADS-B or MLAT mean?

Thanks for your help

PGANRB**** are Radarboxes or Comstations.  EXTSH are sharers using other receiver types using Airnavs sharing software.  MLAT Is data received through Multilateration.  ADS-B is data received from other sources of which I am not aware, I have been told on asking but cannot remember.  AEA4060 is an aircraft routing LEVC-LEMD
