Little Experiment last night

Just tried a little something last night. There is a little hill just from where I live so got out the car put the box on, reset polar, and waited to see what I could get.

Results below, this is with the standard aerial!!

Must try to get the aerial higher though :-)

Fantastic coverage Steve.  I think that this proves that as long as you get your standard antenna up high enough, you don't need to mess around with fancy external antennas and pre-amps.

So, sell the house and buy a tent - good coverage all the time then :-)

have gone down the new aerial with pre-amp etc and the results are amazing just posted a couple from newcastle worth a look
