Network connection
« on: March 28, 2016, 11:23:02 AM »
My Network connection keeps dropping out, the counter keeps missing, ie not starting at 30 seconds but at 3 or 4 then will go back to 30 then connect on say 20

Nothing else seems to be affected, not the weather or this connection to the Forum

anyone else suffering ? or is it a corruption somewhere ?

Hi Tony and Dave, which Internet Provider are you with?   Could it be a fault common to both suppliers - are they both over BT lines (if in the UK)?

That's maybe Dave but if there was a problem with the network it would be happening to all network users as there is no way some can be discriminated independently while others don't have an issue.

At the time your symptoms appear what happens to the network symbol on your task bar, is there a yellow exclamation mark on it.  Are you connected directly to the internet or through a wireless connection from a hub.  Does it happen all day or only at certain times of the day, are BT working in the vicinity.

As it is only happening to 1 or 2 users it cant be an Airnav network problem as all network users would be affected in the same way, unless anyone can tell me diferent

Hi Tony,
Good to hear that, but it would've been good to know what the glitch was for future reference.
Keep your fingers (and everything else!) crossed that it stays good.

Hi
first thanks to you guys for offering help, strangely my problem has gone  very odd,i now have greens for connection and everything.
i find it difficult to understand that two people can get the same problem and disappear at the same time support i got no response from you , which is disappointing when i have supported airnav from the beginning from the first box i bought years ago and have supplied data all that time.
I spent many hours cross checking everything but glad to get back to normal.
kind regards
Dave-c
