« on: October 22, 2015, 06:13:35 PM »

Radar box just sits there saying hardware not connected - any ideas please as i will be using it when i get to my destination. (am in Abu dhabi transit at the moment and though i would see if it would pick up anything)

If i do not have them how do i get them and where do they go

Oh dear, you should have checked it was working before you left.

You will get the drivers from the support page http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/ANRB/drivers/ANRB64bitDrivers.zip

They are zipped so unzip to a location you will remember.

Then go to Start/ Devices and Printers and you will see you box under unspecified.

Right click on its icon/Hardware/Properties/Change Settings/Update Driver/Browse my computer fro updated drivers and guide it to where you have unzipped your drivers to then press Next and your drivers should load.

Hi Alan,

thanks for the help - repeated that driver installation but no luck. However  know it was working back in May with this current laptop.

What i am getting is the power light on and both the usb and signal light flashing a steady blue and i am not sure what this mean. Have tried a different cable and different USB ports as well

any suggestion ??

Paul,

Is it showing as installed OK in devices and printers or is it showing as an error there?

Hi Paul,

With the unit connected to your computer it should show in the 3rd line of Devices and Printers under unspecified even if the drivers are not installed correctly.  I would suggest that if it isn't showing there you have an issue with the USB cable.

Hi Alan,

have tried in all the usb ports with 2 different cables and still the same.

I do have to get the usb arranged "just so" into the box itself so i wonder if something is wrong inside the box.

Maybe it needs to go back to Air Nav for a repair ?

Still am not sure what the steady flashing usb and signal lights indicate though.

It may well be the port that's the problem, give support an email at [email protected] for advice.

I have the same problem, tried loads of different things, drivers, full install etc, and contacted airnav. I have just the power light on my box. Sometimes the programme does not even load.
