Editing aircraft Details

hello all,

got my radar box today and set it up with no problems.

is it possible to edit/change the aircraft details displayed on the radar screen ?

Tony,

What are you trying to edit?

If you are connected to the Internet, then RadarBox will autopopulate the database with any missing details.  You can also manually edit the internal database.  See the FAQ here:

You will not see the effects of your manual edits until you restart RadarBox, or until that aircraft is lost from contact, them picked up again.

You can't change or choose the aircraft label data displayed if that's what you mean - what you see is what you get.

by the way where does the update come from and how often is it done?
I checked on airframes.org and it seems that crossing it with other sources of info what I have on the box is quite outdated/inacurrate e.g.  for D-CUNO tail number

It uses the airnavsytems server and if the data is not there check the GAS (Gatwick Aviation Society) server.
