Terry

If you can tell me which miscodes have not been picked up in 2 years I can delete them, how would you know when a miscode was last picked up?

Thankfully entries no longer current have no affect on the database as they are only used to populate aircraft picked up, if they are not picked up there is no issue, just don't show

Most little ones usually only have one transponder so one way of identifying which is no longer used is to find out what one is being used now, however that means scanning the screen looking for the frame you are looking for.

Thanks again

Alan

The database doesn't hold such information, only the stuff I and others add to it manually.

The servers hold all the type of information you mentioned about when hex codes are picked etc up but accessing that information and utilising it are way beyond me!!!

Many thanks for your work in these deletions and amendments, its appreciated by me

Hi Alan,
One update/query.

AE26BD shows as MH-65D 6604 but has callsign for 6606,
Unsure which one is correct?

And AE2660 is populating as an MH-65C. It should now be an MH-65D

Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mark

My database shows AE26BD as 6604.  I note that it is being used by 6606 which should be AE26BF since the middle of last year, don't know whether it is miscoding or correct.  Have been trying to get onto live-mil mode-s site for an attempt at confirmation but having problems accessing the US codes on it

I am getting conflicting information regarding 6601-6608 however

From what I can find 6604 operates out of Cecil Field Fl and 6606 operates out of Opa Locka Fl

I have asked for some advice and will get back on this

Thanks

Alan

Mark

Following correspondence I have received information which has resulted in the database being changed to the following

AE26BA,6603,6324,Eurocopter MH-65D Dolphin,US - Coast Guard,,AS65
AE26BB,6604,6794,Eurocopter MH-65D Dolphin,US - Coast Guard,,AS65
AE26BC,6605,6796,Eurocopter MH-65D Dolphin,US - Coast Guard,,AS65
AE26BD,6606,6801,Eurocopter MH-65D Dolphin,US - Coast Guard,,AS65
AE26BE,6607,6804,Eurocopter MH-65D Dolphin,US - Coast Guard,,AS65
AE26BF,6608,6814,Eurocopter MH-65D Dolphin,US - Coast Guard,,AS65

6601 was last noted stored on a pallet at Elizabeth City & even though it was upgraded to an MH-65C, it seems not to have underwent conversion to MH-65D standard.  It would appear that the mode-s installation only occurred when they were upgraded to MH-56D standard so will not have been allocated a code

6602 is still an MH-65C and it may be the case that as it wasn't slated for upgrade to MH-65D standard as per the foregoing, it also is not fitted with Mode S transponders & so hasn't been allocated a hex code.

Many thanks for bringing to my attention

Alan

1427DF decodes to RA-10207 sounds like a Gulfstream type reg
