Hi Alan,

that's all what I found about D-CTIL:

http://www.jetnetglobal.com/listings/aircraft/registry/24399/1992-LEARJET-35A-D-CTIL

http://www.dtvmovements.co.uk/Info/Fleet_Lists/General_Aviation/Air_Medical.htm

Update: http://medflight.de/en/
would match up as they (AYY,    Air Alliance Express) do medical flights and G-JMED was used for medical flights too. The needed additional infrastructure for this type of operation was/is therefore already installed in the airframe.

BTW: G-ZMED, the other MED airframe became D-CFOR. Another LJ35, registration D-CFOR, of AYY (CN: 35-614) became D-CGFO around late 2014 or the beginning of 2015.

http://www.laasdata.com/corpjet/corpjets-germany-icao-d.php

Unfortunately it's impossible to tell IF AYY indeed took these two airframes.

Regards

Ingo

Hi Ingo,

MED went out of business and their aircraft were de-registered with G-JMED being de-registered to Germany on 3/2/2016 so looks like it is now D-CFIL.  My database shows that it went to Germany also but with no new registration details.

D-CFOR c/n 614 did as you state become D-CGFO.  The former G-ZMED 35-656 was de-registered to Germany also on 3/2.

Many thanks

Hi Alan,

just to be absolutely sure D-CFIL or D-CTIL. I read D-CTIL. On the one hand my eyes aren't that well anymore and on  the other hand F is damn close to the T on the keyboard.

What was it: My eyes or your hand/fingers? ;-)

Good mor iung from Lagos;
Hexcode 0631A2 is 5N-BSG. Just watched it land, from my hotel and it's an AW139 in bright yellow and red colours. It landed on the central taxiway which means its going to or operated by Caverton Helicopters and not Bristows. Wish they would give their company as well as their reg as callsign!

regards clive.

Morning Clive,

I cant find a c/n yet but its definitely for Caverton, found this from Google

CAVERTON Helicopters Limited- a subsidiary of Caverton Offshore Support Group PLC- is proud to announce the addition of another AW139 helicopter to the fleet. This delivery brings the total number of AW139 helicopters to nine in our fleet, further establishing Caverton as the leading operator of this most modern helicopter in Africa.

The addition of this aircraft, with registration number 5N-BSG, is in line with our fleet expansion plans and it enables us to adequately support our existing contracts as a leading provider of aviation logistics services to oil and gas multinationals within and outside the country.

Thanks again

Alan

Thats good to know Alan but it's most definitely not in Cavertons usual sombre overall white colour. Maybe in the colours of a previous operator.
