Morning Alan,

it's not a big surprise for me to hear, that some are in the db for a couple of month.  I haven't performed a db dowload update since the date the now solved problem was mentioned. Further last year I did these dowload update on each last saturday of a years quater. The last update was, if didn't forgot it, on last Saturday of September 2015.

I hope the auto-populate is fixed soon, to avoid these avoidable posts.

Ingo

Morning Alan,

IBE3307 : DAOO-LEMD
EVE1411 : GCXO-LEVC

I have also just had fly over 'AIB 123' code 380A5A given as F-WWCB A346 Airbus Test Registration with c/n as being various in the d/b. However, on closer inspection through my binoculars it appeared to be a 2 engine A330 not a 4 engine A340 !

Hi Ian,

Thanks again.

380A5A was used previously as first an A310 and then an A340 test registration.  It is now being used for A330 flying and is currently being used by-
380A5A,F-WWCB,871,Airbus A330-203,Airbus Industries and has "More Than 1000 A330 Delivered" titles

I am receiving a number of Database Error reports from Brazil.  While I am appreciative of the reports, please note that the aircraft in question are all in the database already.  You may like to carry out a Database Update to bring your database up to date.  If you need assistance with this please drop me an email.

Many thanks

Evening Alan,

if populate / auto populate is working, I always did download update at least each quater of the year and usually each last saturday of a month.

For now I'm doing the following:
Launch RB SW of second box and doing a db download uipdate. As soon as finished, I'm closing secondary SW and start transfering the mylog of primary box to secondary box. Copy works while primary box is running. After copy is completed I'm starting secondary SW and doing two populate cycles. After that I'm genrating a report for yesterday unknowns. That way all aready known airframes are gone from unknowns list.

Unknowns from Monday:

0E985F no country allocation

3CE91A  DCPOS still no luck with the details

400B9B was G-PUMG, no active airframe with this reg/hex found

41B864 nothing more

444031 nothing more

461E23 nothing more

5081B0  UKL4055 UKL: Ukraine AirAlliance, no further information

8800CF nothing more

A4FA4D decodes N42LN, reserved by FAA: http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/NNum_Results.aspx?omni=Home-N-Number&nNumberTxt=N42LN

E05456 nothing more

Last time it took about two weeks to get populate function back to normal action. So somehow I think, that 48h is a quite optimistic time scale.

Until populate is back I'll stay with the above mentioned consuming but working procedure. Hopefully we won't get any arm-long MIL lists...
