Hi Alan

4B4EA9 HB-2562 is in as a Schleicher ASG-32EI ICAO S32E. I think it should be an ASG-32EL ICAO A32L

My d/b and the Swiss register both give it as an ASG-32El and the register also goes further and gives its ICAO as S32E, see https://app02.bazl.admin.ch/web/bazl/en/#/lfr/detail/HB-2562-1332999

DOC8634 also details the ASG-32El as S32E and I am not aware of A32L being associated with a Schleicher model or being a current ICAO code

First, sorry - my typing is getting worse by the day - I should have typed the correct code as A32E. That's shown in the 'live' ICAO website searching for Schleicher ASG: https://www.icao.int/publications/DOC8643/Pages/Search.aspx S32E doesn't exist. Mind you - it should have been updated yesterday but hasn't been yet.

As to whether its name ends with a capital I (aye) or lower case l (ELL) sources vary but the Schleicher website shows a "3-side-view" where it is definitely a lower case ELL: https://www.alexander-schleicher.de/en/flugzeuge/asg-32-el/

Sorry, fat fingers on my part it should have read A32E.  It is the only one of the model so far in the database and I probably took the code from the register site initially
