SkyKG Airlines of Kyrghzstan have apparently agreed to lease two TU-204 aircraft, ex Red Wings RA-64046 and 64049!  The aircraft were reportedly placed onto the Kyrghzstan register as ЕХ-20401 and EX-20402 in January this year. The two aircraft are currently known to be stored at MRV and are planned be used in the summer based at Manas FRU!

Time will tell if they ever get them going :)

Hi Alan,
More a couple of questions rather than useful information sorry..!

How confident are the T-6B series AE4E96 through AE4EAF? (this probably extends outside these codes, that's just all I have picked up).
For other blocks of T-6Bs, the last three of the callsign (RN or BB xxx) has matched what is listed as the Serial. However in the block above, they are all one number out (the callsign is one number lower than what is in the database).
So I have AE4E96 with callsign BB172, but in the database as 166173 through to AE4EAF callsign RN197 but in the database as 166198.

There is a similar issue with another couple:
AE58E8 callsign RN243 but in db as 166247
AE58F9 callsign SH260 but in db as 166264 (of course this could extend outside these codes)

The second lot are the USCG MH-60T codes. Are the MH-60T actually using Mode S with these codes? I have many AE6xxx codes that appear to be tactical P-8A codes, many confirmed visually and the others goign to altitudes that are most definately not MH-60Ts!
The tactical codes extend well beyond the MH-60T bracket, but seem to cover a large proportion/all of the MH-60 codes.
I suppose that it is highly likely they are used by both?

Cheers!
Mike

Hi Mike

I got the information on the T6's from the database I subscribe to and the live mil mode-s website and also the miradiocomms website.  The milradicomms website that's that AE4E94 for example is the hex for 166171 and uses the flight ID RN171 and is usually picked up by receivers around Cape Coral/Oviedo Florida and my d/b shows that it operates with TAW-5 out of Whiting Field NAS so I know it is correct to there.

AE4E95 appear to be where the confusion starts as my d/b gives it as the logical 166172 however mil mode-s and milradiocomms give it as the out of sequence 166199???.  The question marks are theirs not mines and is well out the sequence.  It is operated by VT-27 out of Corpus Christi Texas
Things start to go wrong with 166172 as my d/b give it as AE4E97 but milradiocomms show it as 166172 an it uses flight ID SH172 which presumably ties up with 166172  Its also operates out of Whiting Field with TW-5

Taking this into account I now have that series in the d/b as follow

AE4E90,166167,PN-158,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E91,166168,PN-159,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E92,166169,PN-160,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E93,166170,PN-161,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E94,166171,PN-162,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E95,166199,PN-190,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E96,166172,PN-163,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E97,166173,PN-164,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E98,166174,PN-165,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E99,166175,PN-166,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E9A,166176,PN-167,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E9B,166177,PN-168,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E9C,166178,PN-169,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E9D,166179,PN-170,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E9E,166180,PN-171,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2
AE4E9F,166182,PN-173,Beech T-6B Texan II,US - Navy,,TEX2

They have around 260 or so in the fleet so I carry out check on the others as well

Regarding the MH-60T's  as far as I can ascertain they are corrects as per the d/b with an number of the as confirmed.  The P8's however changed to hex codes in the AE68** range around a year ago and these are considered to be tactical codes so yes we have two types using the same codes now and the P8's have been noted to change codes within this range so you cannot detail any tactical code as allocated to any particular aircraft and the aircraft have also been noted using the accepted correct code as well depending on their mission profile especially when operating outwith the confines of USA
