Alan

Could you please clarify the folowing situation:

On my task manager ANRB application appears as 32 bits. however I donwloaded last version available from Airnav Systems site (6.01.001) with same procedure for drivers.

My system is Windows 10 Professional 64 bits.

Could this have any interference with decoded data in antenna range ?

Carlos

Carlos,

I'm running V6.01.001 on WIN10 professional too and I havent't noticed any interference with data decoding.

Ages ago I migrated from WIN XP 32bit to WIN7 64 bit without any significant change in range, received message rate or aircraft count per day.

I do notice a change if I use a DVB-T Stick (SDR) instead of classic hardware. More messages, more range, more AC per day less decoding errors if I'm using a stick.

Hi Carlos,

The driver pack contains both 32 bit and 64 bit drivers and will have no impact on range.  I use 64 bit and don't have any range issues, also the software and driver pack has not changed for a couple of years before you started to have range issues

Could I suggest that you take your receiver(s) elsewhere and compare the range if you have access to a laptop.  Even with the small antenna that comes with the receiver you should get over 200 miles range.  If you don't get decent range it would point to problems with your box if the range is good it would point to your antenna set up

Thanks for the route information

Ingo for your information Carlos is experiencing range issues having once had good range it is now very short.

Alan/ffa

RA-09005 unknown noted yesterday has just returned from Sochi/Adler to SVO. Still no clue as to type but assume we have a new biz (Falcon?) jet locally.

We appear to have another reg reuse, it was a B752 but what is using it now? Seems to have come from Istanbul SAW to DME
