Above may be miscodes but the middle 2 are more likely decode errors/corrupt packets

Another miscode in Lagos. I was becoming confused this morning when I kept seeing Hexcode 040087 climbing and descending. When I checked, I could see the correct assignation of this hex, over the Atlantic in the shape of Ethiopian 787 ET-ARE.
Now, as the hex appeared again, descending, it turns out that Aerocontractors DH8C is the culprit. They only have the one 5N-BJO.
Such a mess, these hexcodes in Nigeria!

I have 044045 in the database presumably from you as 9G-AEU miscoding from its correct 044043
5N-BJO should use 064087

There is no problem with the registry hunter.   The problem with 38001B is that it is a French hex code being used on a Venezuelan registered aircraft which should use an 0D**** hex code.  This is further compounded by the fact that 38001B is allocated to F-PEDP and is being used correctly by that aircraft in France.

As it is being used correctly by F-FEDP and as a miscode by YV2308, this hex is now in the database as follows

38001B,VARIOUS,N/A,Being used by more than one airframe,Being used by both F-PDEP RBEL and YV2308 AT43)

YV3027 has been corrected
