cannot find downloaded satellite layers

hi, today i have been trying to download satellite layers for the luton area uk, when i try there is a notification that states 'downloading satellite photo....' then 'satellite photo correctly downloaded and save' but the are only the original layers in the satellite folder can anyone help with this. i am running XP, if that helps.

The layer hasn't worked for some time, no longer available

ok. thank you for your reply. do you know if there is any way of osm maps with out the satellite layers?, or if there are any other mapping sources that can be used?

Only with the 3D version/Google earth but no doubt if I am wrong someone will advise.  Also uploading to Radarbox24.com
