There have been all sorts of strange routings from Alicante this morning and as you say could be to do with the end of Winter schedules and the start of Summer schedules involving empty aircraft. Maybe best to leave things for a week until it hopefully settles down.

It decodes to N321GL.  This registration isn't allocated by the FAA and there are 6 previous holders of the registration and which one is using it at this time is unknown to me.
