Ian,

The database is correct,

I will however be happy to be corrected and it is doing a couple of approached to Prestwick before landing so I will advise what it is wearing when confirmed.  It has been operating out of Amsterdam for a couple of weeks and it is definately 29506 on its tail as per http://www.flickr.com/photos/pvanpolanen/9893083733/

It is used as a platform for the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node.

I can confirm that AE54B4 is 12-9506 as per the database and is now sitting on apron G at Prestwick being refuelled.  It is therefore miscoding its former hex code of N9506G as detailed in the database.

I input the MODES into airframes and it came up with N9506G. When I put 129506 it came up blank so I got a bit confused, it must be my age lol.

Ian,

N9506G still shows on the FAA website but is not unknown for that to happen.  Airframes dont have many military aircraft in their database.

Afternoon Alan,

Cancel any route details for AEA1632 shown in the d/b. It is currently showing as EKCH-LEMD but it's one of these flights which uses the same flight ID for various routes. Today it is actually LEAM-LEBL and tomorrow it is LEMH-LEMD.

It seems very likely that R11-004 is the one miscoding 50FF5F. I received it again today, now climbing from FL89 into FL359, yesterday it was descending from FL380 into FL78. It matches the pattern for my reception on ESKN airport.

R11-004, Ilyushin IL-78MP, c/n 0063467027, Pakistan Air Force (delivered in april 2012)
