Hi Ian,

The aircraft is ZS-ZWO on summer lease to Transavia ferried to them 4/5th May.  I thought it was keeping its SA registration but evidently not.  I believe it is keeping its Kulula colours, hopefully.  Its is the "This Way Up" colours http://www.planespotters.net/Aviation_Photos/photo.show?id=371080

Alan,

Was definitely using 4840FE but whether the actual registration was PH-HZA or ZS-ZWO using it's old Mode S, I cannot confirm.
You're closer I think. Nip down to LEAL and find out !

As its using the hex Ian, I presume it has been reregistered for the lease.  If there was a bit more sunlight I wouldn't have minded going to take a photo.

Alan,

Just for your information, this site would now appear to be covering LEMG. Extremely interesting. It states that it is only TWR/APP but it's also covering clearance perhaps because of the time of night. Could be useful for filling in any route gaps. Now all we need is LEAL to be covered for a good reception.

Alan,

As far as I know, Dutch regulation doesn't allow Dutch airlines leasing aircraft for a longer time, to keep their original registration. They need to be re-registered into Dutch register. Just like the 3 or 4 737s TRA is leasing from GOL during this summer. PH-HZA is also wearing TRA colours in the mean time. Only the belly, engines en winglets are still in Kulula colours.

Btw;
TRA4J EHAM-LPFR

Hi Neil,

5082BC was UR-CKT which is now EP-FQG F100 presumably miscoding its former hex
89635C comes up as A6-142 but no further info available to me, maybe X can help here.

89635C not sure what it wears today but usually when in the sandpit it carries DU-142. A6-142 is a transit code it uses to go thru Europe to UK.

Hi X,

As per the reply to EK01 last night.

30003A decodes to I-DATE which became N982FA and was with FLTS Aviation in Miami for freighter conversion.  Skyliner is showing it as on delivery 07-08may14 MIA-SMA-TUN and is heading for Sri Lanka were it will become 4R-*** in due course.  It is therefore carrying the N registration but is using its old hex instead of its allocated ADB310.

Thanks for the reminder for DU-142.  The d/b has DU-142 as 8967D3.  Does it change its code with the registration or does it stay the same and I have it in the d/b incorrectlyy?

Alan

DU-142 changed hex when it became A6-142 and has therefore probably reverted back, but will no doubt change again when it next goes to UK as A6-142 (that is if it does go back as that reg) to allow it to cross international Air Space. So I recommend you keep both in.

Thanks X, that's what I thought.  I will work something out to allow the same frame to be in the database twice.
